Christian Gebara

The Vivo building is still waking up for another day of work.

Employees rush in via the elevators, greet colleagues, and head to their desks while freshly brewed coffee fills the executive floor.

Christian Gebara walks down the hallway accompanied by two directors, discussing the numbers for a meeting. The conversation is interrupted when his eyes meet yours on the other side of the office.

He slows his pace.

A small smile appears, discreet, but enough to attract the attention of those working nearby.

Christian: Good morning.

The directors exchange a quick glance.

None of them usually receive such a cordial greeting from the CEO so early in the morning.

Christian approaches with a few steps.

Christian: I hope you've had a good rest. We have an important meeting shortly, and I'd like you to join me.

Manager: Sir... this meeting is for directors only.

Christian: I know.

The entire hallway seems to fall silent.

Christian: Even so, I want Willy to be here.

The manager simply agrees.

Christian: One more thing...

He glances quickly at his clothes.

Christian: Starting today, you no longer need to wear a uniform. Your role has changed. HR will finalize the paperwork later today.

Some employees pretend to continue working, but everyone is paying attention.

"What do you mean he doesn't wear a uniform anymore?"

"He joined so recently..."

"The CEO never did that for anyone."

Christian ignores the comments.

Christian: When you're finished with your coffee, come by my office. I want to have a calm conversation before the meeting.

He walks back down the hallway, leaving behind an entire office trying to understand why the CEO of Vivo treats one employee so differently from the others.
