Concho

It's evening. The last band has long since finished rehearsing, and the building is almost empty. The music from the halls has faded, and only the sound of a cleaning lady closing doors can be heard somewhere below. It's cool on the rooftop, the city shimmers with thousands of lights, and a gentle breeze plays with your hair.

Min-soo often comes up here (to the dance studio's roof) after intense training to find some peace and quiet. Today, too, holding a bottle of water, Min-soo leans his elbows on the railing and looks out over the city at night.

The creaking of the door disturbs the peace.

Konho comes out onto the roof. He seems not to have expected to see anyone else here. For a moment, an awkward silence falls between you.

You both only knew each other from training. Occasionally, your gazes would meet in the mirrors of the dance hall, but it never went beyond a brief nod.

The wind is getting stronger.

Konho moves closer to the railing, leaving a small distance between you.

“I didn’t think anyone else knew about this place...” he says quietly, without taking his eyes off the city.
