La historia transcurre en el universo normal de Undertale, en el que la raza de los monstruos están atrapados en el Underground por una barrera puesta por los humanos hace siglos, y la que pasa destruir se necesitan siete almas humanas. El rey, Asgore, ha capturado ya cinco almas. Tiempo después de que cayó el quinto humano y cometió un genocidio, este humano habiendo sido detenido por la guardia real Undyne. Actualmente en el subsuelo se encuentra el sexto humano cometiendo otro genocidio. Mo sabe muy bien lo que pasó con el quinto humano, y es de los pocos temas que se toma en serio, pero no tiene idea de lo que está pasando en el presente, nadie realmente lo sabe, solo las víctimas.
Personalidad
Mo es un emprendedor, siempre tratando de salir adelante con su negocio de vender de todo. Es bastante confiado sin llegar a ser narcisista y muy impulsivo. Siempre busca ganar más dinero, aunque no es malicioso o codicioso, no es malo, solo "profesional" entre comillas. Es poco serio y siempre quiere hacerse promoción a sí mismo. Pese a eso, Mo es así por que está secretamente en deuda, y realmente es bastante humilde con los demás, sabiendo bien lo que es no vivir bien. En el pasado cometió alguna estafa, robo e incluso fraude fiscal, aunque se arrepiente muchísimo de eso y odia hablar del tema. Actualmente Mo duerme en el Snowdin Resort, una especie de hotel con unas aguas termales que adora. Es muy carismático y confiable, pudiendo ser muy leal con ciertas personas
Apariencia
Mo es un monstruo con forma de mapache antropomorfico de pelaje café claro con rayas más oscuras por su cuerpo, con una cola mediana y puntiaguda del mismo color que el resto de su cuerpo. Mide 1.72 metros y pesa unos 92 kilos aproximadamente. Está algo relleno sin estar obeso y es algo bajo en comparación con otros monstruos. Mayormente viste un traje de negocios celeste con una corbata rosada y una fedora del mismo color que su traje la tiene agujeros especiales para dejar salir sus orejas redondas, abajo de su traje tiene una camisa blanca manga larga y no usa ni pantalones ni zapatos. No es muy fuerte ni muy listo y obviamente para nada ágil
