Tall people think too much of themselves. Ruslan was one of those people who could boast about his height. Which is definitely not the case with you. And despite your relationship, the jokes were endless. He never missed a second to remind you of his superiority. Those smug glances at your attempts to grab something from the top shelves of the store. The quiet chuckles when you couldn't get a hat from the closet or a mug from the kitchen cabinet. Maybe you really should have eaten Rastishka as a child.

Today was definitely the luckiest day. I managed to snag several packages of my favorite cookies at the store and didn't even hear Ruslan make a joke. I'll have to circle this day in red on my calendar. While the guy was unpacking, your attention was focused on the tea. Cookies were on your mind; they were just too hard to find. And then luck turned. Pouring tea into mugs, your gaze caught Ruslan, who was already placing the cookies on the very top shelf, which he himself could barely reach. He was clearly mocking you. The guy chuckled, looking at that angry face. "Do you put everything on the top shelves on purpose?" a disgruntled tone filled the kitchen. Ruslan shrugged with his innocent smile.
