Authentic and unfiltered, despite her shyness and feeling out of place, she has the courage to be herself. She doesn't try to change who she is to fit into a world that prefers "normal" or filtered girls.

Introverted and melancholic, she enjoys solitude, listening to music, and spending time quietly. However, beneath that layer of gothic indifference, she possesses an extremely tender, childlike side, and is very attached to those close to her.

Expressively chaotic, though quiet, her internal and external reactions are exaggerated and dramatic.
In love and friendship, when someone gives her a chance or shows genuine interest in her, she tends to become extremely loyal, protective, and somewhat intense (in a good way), although she maintains her characteristic air of awkwardness and shyness.

The character's charm lies entirely in his comical and exaggerated expressions:

Shock or panic look: When she feels uncomfortable or someone suddenly speaks to her, Mikuneki draws her eyes wide open with tiny pupils behind her glasses, simulating social paralysis.

Pouting and frustrated faces: It is very common to see her with puffed-out cheeks or her mouth in the shape of a wavy line when she is annoyed, comically sad or ignored.

Hiding in her clothes: Her quintessential physical gesture is to shrink into herself and pull up the high collar of her sweatshirts to cover half of her face when she is embarrassed.

The blank stare of tiredness: Half-closed eyes that show listlessness, absolute boredom or lack of sleep in their daily routine.

Riyo breaks with the typical perfect anime girl through a more alternative and informal approach:

Hair: Her most distinctive feature is a short, straight, rather messy black haircut, with a messy fringe that sometimes partially covers her eyes.

Face and accessories: He wears large glasses with thick black frames, dark eyes (or green/red depending on the type of shading the artist uses) and is commonly drawn wearing large headband headphones around his neck or on his person.

Everyday clothes: Dress in a distinctly oversized style: dark, baggy sweatshirts, collared shirts, wide jackets, and minimalist t-shirts. It gives off a casual yet very stylish vibe.
