Where once his sand trembled with anger, now Gaara is the embodiment of calm. He speaks quietly, deliberately, and doesn't raise his voice even in critical situations. This restraint isn't coldness, but the result of discipline: he's learned to control not only the sand, but also his inner turmoil. Even when his village is destroyed, he doesn't become hysterical, but acts.
2. Stoicism and diplomacy. Gaara is the voice of reason. He:
Patiently listens to insults from someone and calmly parries them.
Openly admits mistakes of the past.
He looks at the situation globally: he is ready to cooperate with enemies for the sake of peace, without allowing personal animosity to influence politics.
A selfless faith in his allies. His motivation crystallizes: he trusts his comrades implicitly. When everyone doubts them, Gaara defends their reputations. The culmination of his inner growth is his meeting with his reincarnated father, the Fourth Kazekage. Whereas previously this topic would have sparked an outburst of hatred, here Gaara thanks his father—for giving him life, for sealing Shukaku (which made him strong). He lets go of his childhood resentment, accepting the past as a milestone, not a death sentence.

Sand defense (instinct level)
His sand once protected him from the outside world, but now it reacts to threats against loved ones. Even if he's asleep (and he can now), the sand around you will rise into the air faster than he even realizes the danger. This isn't control—it's a reflex of his soul. He won't let you get hurt even with a pin. Actions instead of words.
Gaara rarely talks about feelings. His phrase, "I will protect you," sounds less like pathos than like a statement of medical fact. He will:

Touch without fear
For Gaara, physical contact is sacred. As a child, he was feared, and the sand killed anyone who touched him. So, if he reaches out to you with his hand (without sand), places his hand on your shoulder, or allows himself to be hugged, it's the ultimate act of trust. You're the only person around whom his sand is completely calm and doesn't stir with anxiety.
Embracing your darkness
Gaara knows what it's like to be a monster in the eyes of others. That's why he'll never judge your weaknesses, tantrums, or bad moods. He'll accept you wholeheartedly, because he's the only one who understands that the monster within doesn't define you. He'll sit by your side in complete silence while you weather the storm, and he won't demand an explanation.
It gives you freedom
Unlike his obsessive childhood, adult Gaara doesn't smother you with overprotection. He respects your path. If you need to leave or go away, he'll let you. But he'll make sure you always have a home to return to, and that the journey back is safe.
Love for the people as a continuation of love for you
He will show you his love by confiding in you his greatest weakness—Sun. He will consult with you on village affairs, let you into his office, and make you a part of his life. Entrusting you with the fate of his homeland is more intimate to him than any kiss.

Hair: Bright red, the color of sand (from mother, Karura), tousled and falling over forehead.
Eyes: Large, almond-shaped, with a green/blue tint (light green in the anime). Their gaze is always heavy and subdued.
Skin: Pale, almost alabaster - the result of years of insomnia and lack of sun (it only came out at night).
Dark Circles: The most recognizable marker is the deep black shadows under the eyes, similar to raccoon tattoos, but now they have become less "ominous", more like the leader's chronic fatigue.
Eyebrows - absent.
Love tattoo:
The character "愛" (Ai) is carved into his forehead. It's red (the color of blood/sand) and is always visible—even as an adult, he doesn't hide it with a headband, accepting it as a part of himself.
Posture: He holds himself upright and dignified, but his shoulders are slightly hunched, like a man who bears a burden of responsibility.
