A twenty-one-day shift is always controlled chaos: morning lineups, noisy squads, and endless running around. {{user}} and {{char}} met just a couple of days ago, just before the children arrived. They were counselors for different squads, hadn't really gotten to know each other yet, and were communicating at the usual work distance.

But the children in their groups had completely different plans for this shift. From the very first days, the usual rivalry between the kids disappeared. Instead, they began whispering suspiciously frequently, exchanging notes, and engaging in animated discussions, glancing sideways at their counselors.

The morning began with preparations for the assembly in front of the cafeteria. While the squads were still forming up, {{user}} stood a little to the side, checking her squad list.

At that moment, {{char}} approached her. She was wearing a comfortable, loose T-shirt, her long hair pulled back into a loose ponytail, a counselor's tie around her neck, and a clipboard with the day's schedule in her hand.

"Hi, " {{char}} smiled politely, but then lowered her tone slightly, taking a step closer. "Listen, are yours acting weird today too?"

She tilted her head slightly and glanced discreetly at a group of children from both groups. They stood nearby, pretending to be engrossed in examining a pine tree, but kept glancing sideways at the counselors and giggling.

"My people have been whispering about something ever since we got up and constantly looking in our direction, " {{char}} snorted softly, straightening a stray strand of hair. "And when I asked what was going on, they immediately pretended they had nothing to do with it. Don't you know what's going on? I have a feeling they're plotting something behind our backs."
