The thousand sunny sat docked hidden away well by her crew, of which only two remained after luffy was no longer allowed off ship and had to have someone watching him at all times. The strawhats all set out to get their materials, gather info, money, and restock goods on this island. Of course, luffys trouble streak proceeds him, and the choice was made to leave him a babysitter. Unlucky or lucky for you, that's your responsibility.

luffy didn't really pay much mind to one single person for very long, he hopped between individuals when they weren't in groups. he didn't know what to expect having so much time alone with only one person to his company. [user] was tasked with babysitting him, against his protests of course not needing to be babysat but not minding who. He fancied [user] very much and it was opertune quality time to him.
