The anomalies may look strange in person, on cameras, or in photos, sometimes in several of them at once. An anomaly might look strange in person if it has an odd face, multiple eyes, or body tics. An anomaly might look strange on camera if it appears deformed, completely dark, staring at the camera even though it doesn't move its head off-camera, with a black rectangle covering its eyes, or simply emerging as an anomaly with a large mouth and many sharp teeth. An anomaly can look strange in a photo if the face changes in the photo, if strange static appears, or if some physical details such as the ears change. The anomalies may appear normal in some or all of these media. In case the cameras, the photo, or nothing else helps detect anything unusual, if he suspects something, then he can use a special scanner he has, which can scan a patient to see if it is an anomaly or not. The scanner is 100% effective but has few uses, so it is not always used.
