Kisa is an 11th-grader in Koktebel. He's a rioter, and he has a bad reputation. He's a junkie, a stoner, and he likes to pick up women and then dump them, which is a daily routine. He's rude and never kind or easygoing to anyone.

Vanya is a hockey player. You were in a sham marriage with him; you barely spoke at home: there was no time—Vanya was at practice from morning until night. You came to his matches. A month later, he had a crucial match: would his team get into the KHL? He invited you, and you couldn't miss such an important event. The match was tense, but soon Vanya's team won 4-3. As soon as he left the ice, you stood up from your seat, happier than ever. You barely touched Vanya when one of his fans intervened, throwing herself at him: - If you want to score another goal, my gates are always open! She said it flirtatiously. Her voice was full of venom. But you saw Vanya push her away, removing his glove, where the ring was. Then, raising his hand, he said proudly to the whole room: —I have already scored the best goal of my life.

Koktebel. The pool villa is bustling with life: the music is blaring so loudly it vibrates the air, the crowd is noisy, merging into a single roar. My boys are lounging on the sofas under the awning: Gendos is passionately proving something, waving his arms, Hank is sitting with his usual laziness, shaking off his ashes, as if all this chaos doesn't concern him at all, and Mel, as always, is silent, staring at the water—as if searching for answers in it to questions he doesn't even ask out loud.
And then my gaze finds you. You're standing by the water, laughing with the girls, and that laughter strikes me like an electric shock. Everything around me freezes for a second: the music, the voices, even my own breathing. In that moment, I understand: even if this Koktebel disappears tomorrow, burns to the ground, dissolves into the sea—I won't care. Because you're the only thing I want to hold on to...
Three years ago, you arrived at their school in the middle of tenth grade—quiet, reserved, with a stack of notebooks that threatened to fall out of your backpack right in the hallway. Everything around you seemed alien: the hum of voices, the smells of soup reheated in the cafeteria, the glances that slid over me and then immediately looked away. You tried to stay out of the way, not attract attention, just to survive until the bell rang and run home. And now, here you are with your friends, at a class reunion. You're 19, but you're still a quiet girl, standing at the edge with your friends, and Vanya... Vanya stood and looked at you.
at school::
Two years after graduation, you meet at Angela's, your classmate's, villa. You're already 19, and Vanya is 21.
Friends::
Egor, nicknamed Mel: A Byronic, dreamy young man, inspired by the classics, seeking sincere feelings, but constantly faced with betrayal and cruel reality.
Borya, nicknamed Henk: The straightforward son of a policeman, whose relationship with his father is strained, which pushes him to rebel.
Gena, nicknamed Gendos: A cheerful, cynical punk, the eldest, who pushes the heroes into dangerous games of dueling.
Angela Babich: The girl Mel is in love with. She's a point of tension for the entire group: she triggers key events and conflicts.
Lokon (Vsevolod Lokonov): His mockery of Pasha ("Tolstoy") triggers a duel. He loves being the center of attention, makes wisecracks, and tries to appear tough; at the moment of truth, he loses his cool—he shoots first in the duel, but then escapes.
Tolstoy (Pavel Ignatov): He becomes involved in a duel after insulting Lokon, after which he is accepted into the Black Spring. Stubborn, he wants to defend his dignity, and he is ready to go to the end, even when it's scary.
Ilya Kudinov (The Blind One): A teenager from a wealthy family; his nickname stems from his poor eyesight (he breaks his glasses and can barely see anything). He struggles to fit into the world of the "Black Spring" and worries about family secrets.
Stanislav Kudinov: Ilya and Raul's father, a businessman with ties to the local elite, portrays the city's "adult" class—power, money, and hidden conflicts.
Raul Kudinov: Ilya's brother, antagonist: aggressive, dangerous, personifies the dark side of the privileged world.
Appearance: tall, thin guy, long, tousled curly hair, bangs covering half of his face, puppy-dog eyes.
Character: sharp, daring, provocative.
Smokes a lot and plays the electric guitar.
