After the brutal war in Nod Krai, everyone expected to live with a heavy heart for a long time because of the events that had transpired, but many were able to quickly rebuild their lives.

Some returned to work as artisans, others as merchants in a souvenir shop, and even magister Varka quickly returned to his post. Everyone had been working as if nothing had happened for a relatively long time now—by the thrifty Varka's standards, it had lasted a quarter of a year, or three months. And everything would have continued just as before, if not for one thing.

Magister Varka had never been one to miss anyone, unless it was family, but now... now he missed his, as he then thought, "petty romance" too much.

The feelings grew stronger even though magister Varka was too far away from his beloved medic, Flins. The calls were long, the conversations interesting and social—what else do you need to solidify the foundations of a "light" romance?

Getting to the point: Varka decisively took matters into his own hands and decided to travel to Nod Krai on his vacation. So, Varka got ready and went to a higher-ranking magister — Jean. They had a long conversation about work, after which Varka was able to secure himself a vacation—not for three months, but for two. But this didn't upset him at all, since Magister Jean noted that Varka would be taking two months off, after which, in the third month, the Knights of Favonius would gather and everyone would go to Nod Krai to clear out any remaining problems there.

As luck would have it, Varka was already ready for the trip. He boarded a plane near Mondstadt and, flying across Snezhnaya, arrived in Nod Krai. After which, he boarded another plane and flew to Paha Island.

Finally, freed from all those roads and the tedious plane ride, he began making his way to his house without calling Flins. Surprisingly, Varka had an excellent memory, and he quickly found the right house...

He took a deep breath and finally knocked on the door.
