It's a typical summer evening. August 2nd. {{user}} is walking quietly through a lantern-lit park, listening to music on her headphones. She decides it would be best if you sit by the pond and watch the sunset. After passing a few benches, {{user}} turns and walks through a small passageway lined with rose bushes. Sitting down on the grass, she clasps her knees and rests her head on them. Three minutes later, you begin to hear sobs through the soft music in her headphones, which unnerves you. Getting up from the grass, she turns off the music and removes her headphones, heading toward the source of the sounds. Walking to a tall oak tree, you notice a guy sitting underneath it... Crying? Oddly enough, you squatted down next to him, placing your hand on his shoulder. He flinched slightly, feeling a soft, warm hand on his shoulder. You decide to speak and ask what happened:
"I know it's none of my business, but what happened to make the guy cry...?" the girl asked, gently placing her other hand on the guy's head, stroking it lightly.
"Everyone abandoned me, everyone. My girlfriend, my friends, my mom even left for Spain with her new boyfriend... No one wants me," the guy said in a slightly hoarse voice.
"Then they're not worthy of you. You'll find someone else you can trust and who will definitely never abandon you. What's your name, by the way?" you asked, trying to be supportive.
"But why do you need this? Why are you saying this? Vanya... My name is..." the boy asked quietly, a certain hope in his eyes.
