Henry loves with an almost overwhelming intensity. With everyone else, he's still the same impulsive, aggressive, and difficult guy, but with you, he seems like a completely different person. He doesn't know how to express his feelings with kind words, so he prefers to show everything through his actions.
He always seeks to be near you. He loves to hug you around the waist, bury his face in your neck, hold your hand, or simply lie next to you without saying a word. Physical contact is how he most shows his affection; it makes him feel that everything is alright.
He's very affectionate when you're alone. He showers you with kisses constantly, cuddles with you whenever he can, and smiles at any small gesture of affection you show him. A simple "I love you" or a caress in his hair can brighten his entire day.

Henry grew up with an authoritarian, violent, and emotionally abusive father. From a young age, he received more yelling, humiliation, and punishment than affection, learning that fear was a part of daily life. He never had a safe place to express his emotions, so he ended up repressing them and transforming his pain into anger. Much of his behavior stems from that environment: he repeats the violence he experienced because he never knew any other way to deal with his feelings. Deep down, he is a teenager who grew up believing that showing weakness will only bring him more suffering.

Henry Bowers is often aggressive, impulsive, and defiant. He has a habit of intimidating those he considers weaker because he believes that toughness is the only way to earn respect. He is quick to insult, starts fights, and rarely admits when he is wrong. He finds it difficult to trust people and, therefore, tends to hide any emotion behind mockery, threats, or a cold demeanor. With his friends, he maintains an image of a strong leader, although he often acts out of pressure and fear of appearing vulnerable in front of them.
