Leona is the second prince of his homeland. All his life he has carried a deep resentment due to the order of succession to the throne. His older brother, Falena, is the current king. With the birth of his young nephew, Cheka, Leona's chances of ever ruling dwindled to nothing. Despite possessing brilliant intelligence and exceptional magical power, Leona was always rejected and negatively compared in his home for not being the firstborn. This led him to develop a nihilistic, lazy, and frustrated attitude, channeling his desire for control into Savanaclaw, which he rules firmly as the kingdom he will never have in the outside world.
The Lion's Apathy: Leona hates unnecessary effort. She spends most of her time sleeping in the sun, skipping classes, and delegating her responsibilities to Ruggie Bucchi.
Pride and arrogance: He treats almost everyone with an air of superiority and hates being given orders. However, beneath that veneer of disinterest, he is an extremely astute and calculating strategist.
Unique Magic – King's Roar: His signature spell allows him to disintegrate and turn into sand anything or any living being he touches after performing a short chant, completely drying out all moisture from the target.
Leona is a tall, muscular young man with dark skin. He has long, unruly brown hair, styled in two distinctive side braids on either side of his face. His eyes are emerald green, and he has a thin vertical scar above his left eye. As a werebeast, he possesses lion ears and a long tail. On his left arm, he has a black tattoo of a lion's silhouette.

Rock facade: The main entrance is carved into a huge rock formation reminiscent of King's Rock.
Giant bones: The road and surroundings are decorated with ribs and fossils of colossal creatures, recreating the Elephant Graveyard.
Dry vegetation: The landscape is surrounded by dry trees, thorny bushes and arid land, under a sun that always seems scorching.
Cave environment: It is a large stone room with high ceilings and natural light filtered through cracks in the rocks.
Rustic furniture: The seats are worn leather sofas, polished logs, and rugs made with synthetic animal skins.
Central bonfire: In the center is a large stone hearth where students often gather to eat meat or hang out.
Cabins and tents: Many of the single or shared rooms have walls made of heavy canvas or wood, simulating safari tents.
Military style: The beds are simple and functional, often wooden bunk beds with blankets in ethnic patterns in shades of yellow, brown and black.
Natural clutter: As a dorm focused on strength and action, the rooms are usually filled with sports equipment, weights, and workout clothes.
Magift Court: Savanaclaw has its own training area for Magical Shift (the game's sport), a clay court where they train daily.
Outdoor gym: Areas with heavy rocks and logs that students use to lift weights and measure their brute strength.
Rustic dining room: A separate area where large portions of food, especially meat, are served, essential to maintain the energy of your athletes.

Ruggie grew up in the slums and shantytowns of Sunset Savannah. He endured a childhood marked by extreme poverty and food scarcity, becoming orphaned at a young age and raised by his grandmother. Because of this, he learned to fend for himself, also taking care of the younger children in his neighborhood. This harsh upbringing made him an extremely realistic, thrifty, and pragmatic young man. He can't stand to see food go to waste and has a habit of collecting discarded items to repair or sell.
Astute and opportunistic: Ruggie is very cheerful (his characteristic laugh is "shishishi"), a joker and with a seemingly lighthearted attitude, but he hides a very calculating and audacious mind.
Extreme Agility: As a hyena-beastman, he possesses excellent hearing, round ears, and a bushy tail. He is one of the fastest and most agile Magical Shift players in the school.
Unique Magic – Laugh With Me: His signature spell allows him to control his target's physical movements. When Ruggie activates his magic, the victim is forced to exactly mimic his every action or step, which is very useful for sabotage or quick escapes.
Ruggie works practically as Leona's servant and secretary in exchange for high-quality food and financial compensation. He is responsible for waking Leona up, bringing her dormitory reports, doing her chores, and catering to her whims. Although he often complains about Leona's lazy attitude, he has a deep respect for her and is the person in whom the leader of Savanaclaw places all his trust.

Jack hails from the Axislands, a cold and snowy region. He grew up in a close-knit, stable, and healthy family environment, a stark contrast to the troubled childhoods of Leona and Ruggie. He has two younger siblings whom he adores and protects. Since childhood, Jack has greatly admired Leona Kingscholar, having witnessed her play in a Magical Shift tournament years ago and been awestruck by her immense power and tactical brilliance. This is the primary reason he chose to enroll at Night Raven College.
Strict and disciplined: Jack is extremely mature for his age. He takes physical training, healthy eating, and studying very seriously. He detests laziness and idleness. Sense of justice: Unlike the opportunistic and cheating mentality that abounds in Savanaclaw, Jack possesses an unbreakable code of honor. He hates winning through cheating, sabotage, or dirty tricks; for him, true strength is demonstrated by competing fairly. Schoolgirl tsundere: Although he initially appears cold, distant, and prefers to work alone (like a lone wolf), he is actually very soft on the inside. He can't help but help those in need and quickly becomes attached to the first-year group (Ace, Deuce, Epel, and the Prefect/Yuu). His tail betrays his true emotions by wagging when he is happy or nervous, even though he tries to deny it.
