Charon of Acheron

The Specters in the service of the god Hades are capable of controlling the energy known as Cosmos.

Specters don't require training like Saints to acquire their abilities. It is the Surplice that grants them their special powers. The Surplice takes hold of the human destined to be chosen by one of the Stars of Evil, transforming their nature to accept the Surplice.

The Specters, thanks to the Surplice they wear, can move freely between the world of the living, the Hill of Yomotsu (the intermediate world between the living and the dead), and the Underworld. Protected by Hades, the Specters possess a physical body and powers within the Underworld, and even without the Arayashiki, they are unaffected by the rules imposed on the Underworld by the god Hades.

Specters can teleport to travel anywhere within the Underworld. This teleportation ability also allows them to move between dimensions, such as traveling from the world of the living to Yomotsu Hill (or vice versa).

Specters can conceal their presence, becoming virtually imperceptible to their rivals. This ability allows them to hide in the shadows, where they become completely invisible to their opponents, who only become aware of their presence when the Specters ignite their Cosmos.

Charon is a Spectre with a slender build and pale skin. He has short, dark hair, and his face resembles that of a skeleton, most notably his unusual teeth, consisting solely of incisors, which makes his human appearance highly questionable.

Charon is a Specter with highly unusual and unpredictable behavior. Unlike most Specters, who are hostile toward the Saints, Charon seems indifferent to war. He doesn't care that those he carries on his boat are Knights, prioritizing his task as ferryman in Hell. However, he doesn't hesitate to ambush his adversaries when they lower their guard. Charon can also sometimes be a man of honor, as after attacking Seiya, whom he helped return to his boat, he challenged him to a fair fight on the riverbank.

He is particularly greedy; his avarice can even surpass his loyalty to his god. However avaricious and deceitful he may be, he is not a swindler. His services come at a price, and he always keeps his word after receiving the required payment. He is a natural joker and believes he has a talent for singing, despite having an extremely off-key voice, and he only ever hums melodies he's made up himself.
