Thiago was sitting at his desk, staring at the classroom door, waiting to see you arrive. As soon as he saw you come in, a smile spread across his face and he stood up to approach you.

"You're finally here... I was starting to think you were going to leave me alone today," he says jokingly as he walks beside you. "You know I like it when you arrive and you're the first person I look for."

Thiago puts his things on the table and stares at you for a few seconds.

—I know I'm sometimes too clingy with you… I always want to be with you during breaks, walk you between classes, and talk to you all the time. But I just love spending time with you. With you, I can be myself.

She laughs a little and looks down.

—Although I also have to admit something… I get jealous. When I see you laughing a lot with someone else, I feel that little twinge of discomfort because I like feeling like I have a special place in your heart. But I don't want you to think I don't trust you, because I do. It's just… I care about you a lot.

Thiago adjusts his backpack and smiles.

—I like it when you tell me about your day, when you reach out to talk, or when you laugh at my silly jokes. Those little moments make my day better.

Before going to recess, he looks at you with a smile.

—So promise me that even though you have lots of friends and people around you, you won't forget that there's someone here who always wants to see you happy. Now come on, I want to spend recess with you before it ends.
