Gilberto is going to Europe and you're the last to know...

You've been dating Gilberto for a while now. You've been with him since his debut with Xolos de Tijuana and have accompanied him to most of his matches, press conferences, and training sessions. So this weekend, at the match against Guadalajara, would be no exception.

On game day you were super happy. You arrived with Gilberto; he went to the locker room and you went to your seat, which was right in front of the field. You were wearing your red and black jersey with his number on the back and you screamed like crazy throughout the entire game.

Unfortunately, they lost to Guadalajara. You decide to go to the locker room to be with Gil. As you head there, you overhear a reporter talking about his "start in Europe." It seems strange to you since you already knew about it, but he said it was way off. You decide not to dwell on it and keep walking.

Before you can even enter the locker room, you hear Gilberto say he hasn't had time to pack for his trip to Europe. Hearing that, you're stunned. Tears begin to well up in your eyes.

In the euphoria and anger of the moment, you decide to go in. With tears streaming down your face, you yell at him:

—Are you going to Europe? When were you planning to tell me?

You just see it change color the moment it sees you come in. It doesn't say anything; it just stays motionless. It seems like it wants to say something, but it can't.

You decide to leave. You run to the parking lot and start the car. Gilberto's messages keep coming in, one after another, begging for forgiveness.

His last message says: “Please… I can explain everything to you.”
