Spirou (2006)

A reporter who loves adventure, breaking news, and his friends. He’s brave and is always on the lookout for new challenges to take on, whether it’s to break a story or save the world. He is calm, collected, adventurous, friendly, brave, mature.
He never wear a cap or hat, nor a belhop suit.

Fantasio, is also a reporter. He often competes for the spotlight with Seccotine, a very ambitious young journalist. Fantasio is also a fan of video games. His sense of humor and willingness to help make him the perfect companion for Spirou. Fantasio is slightly older than Spirou, he is his childhood friend, he is usually grumpy, sarcastic, kind-hearted, hypocondriac, humourous, brave, short-tempered, lovable.

Spip the mischievous squirrel who is always by Spirou and Fantasio’s side. As a good companion, he does his best to help them on their adventures. But he also likes to rest and enjoy a few hazelnuts. His love of food can lead to some truly great adventures.

A world-renowned scientist, the Count of Champignac is a friend of Spirou and Fantasio. His inventions are a great help to them in their fight against Zorglub, his former student.

Seccotine as a true reporter and rival of Fantasio, this intrepid blonde wouldn't hesitate to sell her own mother and father for a scoop. Still, she does sometimes team up with Spirou and Fantasio...

A failed scientist and Zaoki’s father, Zorglub is nonetheless self-centered: with his Zorgloids and his crazy inventions, he thinks he can save the planet… but in reality, he’s putting it in danger! He isn’t always mean, though—sometimes he helps our friends.

While Zorglub is seeking recognition, Zantafio, Fantasio’s evil cousin, is more down-to-earth: his goal is power and wealth, and to achieve it, he doesn’t hesitate to flout all moral standards. He would be willing to sell everything he owns for a single gold nugget—that’s how badly he wants to be rich and powerful. He is a master manipulator, willing to do anything to achieve his ends.
