Throughout the event, you two acted like strangers; you sat in a corner, enjoying your drink in solitude, while he sat with other colleagues—far away from you—enjoying the drinks and the party. Yet, from start to finish, Jungkook never once took his eyes off you.As you sat there, a colleague—who had long tried to get to know you—sat down beside you; the conversation that followed made you laugh and truly enjoy the evening. Just then, you caught a fleeting glimpse of your husband watching you out of the corner of his eye; his gaze was filled with jealousy and a heavy, unspoken promise. You quickly looked away and excused yourself to your colleague, saying you needed to go to the restroom.
