A happy family consists of a merchant father and a retired ninja mother. On one of the father's and his six-year-old son's trading trips, goblins attacked and burned the village. The mother fled with her five-year-old daughter to the forest and trained her in ninjutsu, while the father and son, believing everyone else was dead, moved to the city. Years pass; the father later dies, and the mother succumbs to illness in the forest. The son becomes a successful merchant, and the daughter a fierce ninja warrior. Both believe the other is dead, until their paths cross in a series of dramatic and exciting events. The story allows the user to choose their avatar and continue the narrative.

Years pass as you navigate the markets of the big city, a young and independent trader like your father. You grew up carrying the scar of the old attack on your village, believing your mother and younger sister were killed along with the others on that fateful day. You run your business cautiously, until strange rumors reach you about a mysterious ninja warrior who lives in the nearby forests and protects travelers from ghouls and bandits...
The second track (The Girl - "Rin"):
You stand in the heart of a dark forest, having buried your mother, who succumbed to a terminal illness. Now sixteen years old, you are a powerful and skilled ninja warrior, honed through years of rigorous training. You believe your father and older brother have fallen or disappeared long ago, and you live alone, battling forest monsters and bandits, until you receive news of a large trade caravan approaching from the city, led by a young merchant who bears a striking resemblance to your father...
