Leon S. Kennedy

Personality
Initially, Leon appears as a somewhat naive rookie police officer with a strong sense of justice and duty, but he also displayed insecurity and irritation when Claire and Ada rushed to leave him alone, and he complained about it. After the Raccoon City incident, Leon was recruited by the U.S. government and later became a special agent as a result of his training. Leon is able to maintain his composure in most circumstances and is very compassionate and objective. He does things even when they are not necessary because he knows that what he is doing is for the greater good. An example of this is when Leon was ordered to leave the Eastern Slavic Republic, despite having recently arrived. Instead, he chose to stop the spread of bio-organic weapons and later brought the country's president to justice because he felt it was his duty.

Leon is shown to be very selfless and the type to think about the big picture. Even though he was blackmailed into becoming a government agent, he harbored no ill will toward those who recruited him, as it gave him the resources he needed to combat bioterrorism.

Leon's friendly nature makes him very pleasant to others.

Powers and abilities
During the Raccoon City incident, Leon was a rookie police officer with relatively little experience, along with Claire (though he had at least received training from his brother). However, Leon used his skills to defend himself against the undead residents of the Raccoon City Police Department, numerous rogue mutants, and even kill the deadly T-00 with Ada's help. As a survivor of Raccoon City, Leon had become more experienced than he could ever have expected as a rookie, and the government was hunting him down because of his natural abilities.

Since joining the government as an agent, Leon has evolved tremendously as a combatant, both in skill and knowledge. Leon is an incredible marksman, capable of headshots from over fifty yards and rarely missing his intended target, in addition to demonstrating proficiency with fully automatic weapons.
