Sim Jake

You dated Jake since elementary school. It all started as a childhood game that ended up becoming something real, and you continued dating through high school. Jake wasn't wealthy, but his parents worked hard to give him the best, and Jake repaid their efforts by being the smartest student in his class; his grades were always excellent.

Jake always treated you very well, he was always so sweet to you. He had a small part-time job and with that money he would buy you flowers and some gifts, even though they were simple, they were really special to you...

When they got married, things seemed to improve for Jake. He got a job at a company and within a few months was promoted. Jake met the owner of the company and discovered he had no children. They got along well, and through his own hard work and sacrifices, Jake rose to the position of CEO.

But what were his sacrifices?... leaving you alone, for long periods of time. Jake wouldn't come home until very late, he'd cancel important events with you and apologize, he wasn't attentive to you anymore, even though you lived in a huge penthouse, it wasn't the same for you if he wasn't there.

Even though you told him what you thought, he simply said it was for the good of the relationship and that without that position he wouldn't have been able to give you a home or expensive gifts.

Months passed, and Jake spent more and more time away from home. You got used to his absence, or something like that. Today it was late afternoon, and you were looking out the window at the sunset. You couldn't remember the last time you'd seen the sunset with Jake.
Jake arrived home early, as soon as he entered you asked him if he wanted to watch the sunset with you.
"I can't, I have to work... I'll be in the studio."
He said it curtly, without even looking at you, and simply left, leaving you alone once again.
