Kojiro Nanjo (南城なんじょう 虎次郎こじろう, Nanjō Kojirō), also known in "S" as Joe (ジョー, Jō), is one of the skaters in the anime Skate Infinity.

Appearance
Kojiro is a tall, muscular man with slightly tanned skin and wavy, dark green hair, cut short except for a small strand at the nape of his neck. He has red eyes that slant slightly outward, as well as a black, abstract sun-shaped tattoo on his left shoulder, and is almost always seen with a kindly expression. Aside from the "S," his usual attire consists of simple jeans and an orange-and-white striped shirt, though he has also been seen wearing various dark-colored T-shirts and shirts of other colors. When working at Sia la Luce, he wears a white, double-breasted chef's shirt and black pants, along with a long, dark red apron tied at the waist.

As Joe, he wears only a pair of simple, baggy white pants and a white and blue jacket with an orange lining, unbuttoned to reveal his torso. He also wears black fingerless gloves and several dark bandages around his neck and waist, and wears his longer hair in a low ponytail.

During his school years, Kojiro had shorter hair and was much less muscular than he is now.

His clothing choices show a lot of skin; the reason he's always naked isn't because he's so muscular that tight clothing is uncomfortable. His clothes, no matter how shabby, are brand-name; he always strives to dress his best.

Personality
In "S," he appears to be a playboy who enjoys charming and having fun with many women. This is shown at the beginning of episode 1, when he kisses two girls at once, and later episodes show him flirting with countless women.

Kaoru Sakurayashiki (桜屋敷さくらやしき 薫かおる, Sakurayashiki Kaoru), also known in "S" as Cherry Blossom (チェリーブロッサム, Cherīburossamu), is a skilled skater and member of "S", he uses his AI board to skate with calculation and intelligence.

Appearance
Kaoru is a man of average height and build, beloved by "S" viewers for his handsomeness. He has golden eyes and long, cherry blossom-colored hair, which he wears loosely tied back over his left shoulder, allowing it to fall in waves over the right side of his face. Outside of "S," his usual attire consists of a simple dark blue yukata with a gray-yellow obi, white tabi socks, and zori sandals. He wears silver-framed glasses and is often seen carrying a fan.

In his Cherry Blossom attire, he wears a white sleeveless yukata with thick purple cuffs on the shoulders and loose, pleated trousers held in place by a yellow belt. He also wears bandaged armguards with black inserts that extend into gloves, a matching pair on his calves, and a black mask covering his lower face. His shoes are again zori sandals with simple tabi toes, but they are sturdier and have thick purple soles. In his "S" attire, he wears his hair in a high ponytail.

During high school, Kaoru had short hair, which he wore parted on the left side, with a shorter strand hanging over his right eye. He also had several piercings on his ears and lip.

Personality
Kaoru is a quiet intellectual, renowned even outside of "S" as a renowned and successful calligrapher in the field of artificial intelligence. He has been shown to treat clients and strangers with polite respect,[2] but is often caustic towards those closest to him, most notably his fellow "S" member and childhood friend, Kojiro Nanjo. Kaoru often loses his temper when talking to Kojiro, perhaps due to their contrasting personalities, and they usually end up arguing and calling each other names whenever they disagree.

Reki Kyan (喜屋武きやん 暦れき, Kiyan Reki) is a second-year high school student who loves skateboarding. He frequents the underground skateboarding club "S" and is close friends with Langa Hasegawa, whom he quickly inspires with his passion.

Appearance
Reki has lightly tanned skin, amber eyes, and unruly red hair. He usually wears baggy pants with a yellow hooded sweatshirt with a gear print in the middle. In his skater persona, he wears a black jacket over the sweatshirt. He wears a blue headband and a red wristband. Reki is of average height, has a lithe build, and appears to be in good physical condition.

Personality
Reki is a carefree high school student. His main, but not only, passion is skateboarding. Reki also enjoys drawing and building skateboards from scratch.

Thanks to his open demeanor, Reki gets along well with everyone (though, naturally, he's more inclined toward people familiar with the world of skating). Due to his laziness, he only does the bare minimum of schoolwork to avoid bad grades and never really thinks about his future career. However, when it comes to things he's truly passionate about, like skateboarding, Reki tries his best and sets lofty goals.

Reki is also a selfless person who wants the people he cares about to succeed in any field, even if it brings pain and disappointment along the way. His interactions with his friends, Langa and Miya, reveal that he is very tactile and enjoys expressing affection through touch.

Reki cares deeply for his friends, protecting Miya from Adam for fear that he will suffer like his old friend. He will also do anything to ensure their safety, such as going to Lange to convince him not to skate against Adam.[3] He expresses his concern for Lange, often making sure he is okay. Reki also displays a fear of falling behind and being left behind, which means he has to work harder.

Langa Hasegawa (馳河はせがわ ランガ, Hasegawa Ranga), known in "S" as Snow (スノー, Sunō). Half-Japanese and an exchange student, he just returned from Canada to Okinawa, where his mother grew up. After befriending Reki, Langa develops a passion for skateboarding and is recruited into "S." Unlike Reki, Langa has no experience skateboarding, but his knowledge of snowboarding helps him.

Appearance
Langi has medium-length, sky-blue hair (described as "snow-like") that covers his ears and blue eyes. He is above average height, noticeably taller than Reki. He is usually shown wearing his school uniform, which consists of black pants, a yellow vest, and a white button-down shirt. When hanging out with Reki, he wears baggy clothes: dark pants, a blue coat, and a gray shirt. He has once been shown wearing a white long shirt and skinny jeans, as well as an all-black school uniform. He always wears purple sneakers.

Langa is usually quiet and taciturn. When meeting his classmates, the teacher tried to coax more information out of him, only to discover he was originally from Canada.

Langa is indifferent to most things, but when it comes to learning skateboarding, he becomes very determined, often putting his life at risk. Langa is confident when in his element and a very quick learner. This can be seen when he easily masters skateboarding, using skills honed over fifteen years of snowboarding. He can also be described as easygoing. Langa thrives on dangerous, almost impossible situations, such as racing with Adam. In episode 7, the S members begin calling Reki "the redhead who hangs out with Snow," and Langa seems oblivious. While Reki spends the entire day trying to reach the point on the wall that Langa reached with ease, Langa tries to find Reki at his house and waits for him to return in the rain.

Miya Chinan (知念ちねん 実也みや, Chinen Miya) is a student at an elite high school and a candidate for the Japanese national team.

Appearance
Miya is a boy wearing a dark pink striped shirt and a purple ponytail under a light green short-sleeved hoodie with purple cat ears. Miya's uniform consists of a long-sleeved black undershirt and an unusually styled uniform. He also wears gray shorts with a brown belt, socks, a beret, and a pair of brown dress shoes.

In "S", Mia has a black skateboard with a purple "X" on the top of the deck and multiple cat designs on the bottom.

Personality
Miya was a carefree boy as a child, but he grew into a man who can sometimes seem very brash. However, this is likely part of the persona he adopted after the events shown in the flashbacks following his argument with Langa.

He had been interested in skating since he was young and often skated with his friends. During this time, Miya was happily skateboarding with others. He quickly mastered skateboarding skills, for example, mastering an ollie in just two weeks. His natural skateboarding ability caused resentment among his friend group, and the better Miya became and the more awards he won, the faster his group of friends dwindled. Around this time, one of his friends, Takashi, proclaimed that heroes can't team up with slugs, leading Miya to his worldview that he was the hero and everyone else around him was slugs.

Miya can be brash towards others, even insulting them on first meeting, such as when he called Reki Kyan "slime." Miya often appears devastated, as Adam noted, and Reki noted that Miya didn't look like he was enjoying himself in a clip of one of Miya's recent interviews.

Miya is shown to be somewhat competitive, being almost certain he would win during a race against Langa Hasegawa. It appears that Adam was the one who forced Miya to race Langa.
