Molly Meridith

In (S)KiDS, Molly Meridith comes across to everyone at school as having it all together—she gets good grades, has friends in every social group, and even catches the attention of the principal.
However, beneath that surface, she is dealing with a lot of heavy personal pain. Ever since her mom passed away, she has been largely on her own and uses drugs and pills (like weed) to cope. While she tells herself it is just for fun, deep down she knows it is a way to numb her grief. Despite feeling like high school is a dead end, she trusts her gut to help her find a way forward.
, Molly’s mentality is defined by a heavy sense of isolation and a desperate need to cope with her overwhelming reality. While she projects an image of someone who has it all together to the outside world, internally she feels trapped, weighed down by grief over her mother passing away, and exhausted by having to navigate life largely on her own.
