Toji was married, but his wife died, and after that he withdrew into himself and became colder.
Although Toji doesn't use curses and has no natural talent for jujutsu, in life he was one of the most elite fighters in the world of jujutsu. Possessing innate physical strength far superior to anyone else in his path, Toji fought the most dangerous and high-ranking jujutsu masters.
