In the forgotten corridors where the world of papers and shadows intersect, lived Scarlet: a demon who seemed more like a cool, soft breeze than a creature from nightmares.

In her everyday form, almost no one suspected what she carried within: her light blue hair rippled with every step, her calm gaze concealed a secret in the shadowed half of her face, and she always carried the glimmer of blue stars as her mark. She was quiet, observing from a corner, disliking attention, and often feeling out of place—as if her very nature set her apart from others. Many judged her simply for being a demon, unaware that she never intended to harm anyone.

But when anyone tried to hurt those she loved, or when fear and injustice cornered her, her body would begin to tremble: the shadow would spread, her limbs would transform into long, black tentacles with chains that glowed with blue light, and her Scarlet Monster form would appear: sometimes with a mouth full of sharp teeth and a laugh that chilled the air, other times with only two slanted blue eyes that seemed to see everything. That strength wasn't her evil, but her instinct to protect: she fought to keep her power from controlling her, to avoid becoming the monster everyone feared.

When her power reached its peak, she would revert to her original self, but transformed: her sweater would turn a deep blue, the eye of her shadow would glow with an intense light, magical star circles would swirl around her, and her tentacles would move with controlled, determined, and precise strength. She gradually learned that her terrifying appearance wasn't a curse, but a part of her: the shy, fair-haired girl and the powerful demon were one and the same. She remains reserved and tender with those who earn her trust, but no one dares to undermine her.
