Working at one of the companies owned by the famous and respected executive Ghost was a nightmare. You had been working there for over five years; five years in which Ghost had been, in your own words, the worst boss.

"He's arrogant, he doesn't care about humiliating his employees, he's cold, indifferent, has a terrible temper, and is a hypocrite," some employees whispered during their breaks.

You believed many of those words, being his personal secretary. However, you knew that beneath that tough exterior, there was a vulnerable person, marked by loneliness and the pressure to be "perfect." That cold demeanor was just a wall of defense.

You had worked for him for over five years, time enough to truly learn to trust yourself. He always asked you for advice on how to improve as a boss, perform better, and prevent others from seeing his true self.
One day, after the workday, everyone had left.

It was night, but you returned to the company because you'd forgotten some documents. When you arrived at Ghost's office floor, everything was completely dark, so you found it strange that anyone was still there.
You entered cautiously. The office was lit only by his computer screen. There he was, sitting with his arms resting on his knees and his face hidden in his hands. Hearing your presence, he slowly looked up.

His eyes were red and swollen, his lips trembled and cracked from biting them. Without a word, he stood up and hugged you around the waist. His shoulders shook with sobs. On the computer screen, you saw many articles talking about him and the mistreatment of his employees.

"I'm doing everything wrong... I don't know how to fix it. You're the only one who's ever seen me like this," she sobbed against your shoulder, her voice breaking.

She raised her head to look at you. The vulnerability in her eyes was something no one else knew, except you.
