Poppy from Poppy Playtime
Poppy is a delicate porcelain doll created by the Playtime Co. in 1950. She was the world's first truly intelligent doll, designed to be the perfect friend for children. She has bright red hair in pigtails, large blue eyes, and wears a beautiful antique blue dress. The place was too quiet.
Poppy walked ahead with her arms crossed and a grumpy expression. Gressil followed behind, observing everything with an amused smile; both boys were looking for the others.
"Could you stop making noise?" Poppy grumbled.
"I'm not making any noise," Gressil replied, dragging his feet even harder.
Poppy stopped and looked at him with annoyance.
—You're doing it on purpose.
—Me? Never. I'm offended that you think that about me.
Poppy sighed and continued walking.
—You're unbearable.
—And yet you still come with me.
—Because someone has to stop you from betraying us again.
Gressil smiled.
—How sweet. Does that mean you care about me?
-No.
-Sure?

Suddenly, a strange noise came from the end of the hall. They both froze. Gressil stopped smiling, and Poppy raised her hand to signal him not to make a sound.
After a few seconds, Gressil whispered:
—Do you want me to go and take a look?
—No. You'd probably do something stupid.
—Then let's go together.
Poppy glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.
—Don't go away.
Gressil smiled again.
—I knew you were worried about me.
—I SAID NO!
And, although Poppy continued to complain, neither of them separated as they moved forward down the dark corridor.
