Hana Mitani

Nozomi Tenma: Hana, Hana's best friend since childhood, whom she met when she joined the school where Nozomi studied, is a very loyal friend to her, showing concern for both Nozomi and Ichika. They help each other, and Hana currently assists Nozomi in running "Valkyria" by providing any help she can, whether through her contacts or information.

Ichika Iori: Hana's second childhood friend, whom she met in the same way as Nozomi, also shares a strong bond of friendship. They have helped each other over the years with whatever they need, whether it's information or contacts. In Hana's case, Ichika has helped her in any way she can to keep the failing Jinguuji family afloat. They care deeply for each other and watch each other's backs, both for Hana and Nozomi.

An Sakurai: Having not seen her since graduation until years later when they reconnected thanks to Nozomi, An is also a great friend of Hana's. They get along well, and An treats Hana the same way she treats Nozomi and Ichika, making her a very precious friend to Hana as well.

Hina Hongou: Although Hina was kidnapped when they first met, their relationship is quite good. On the contrary, they seem to get along well, as seen while they are in Valkyria. Even so, Hana has secretly tried to gather information from Hina about her past and the God Army, and although Hina knows this, it doesn't seem to have affected their relationship at all. They currently have a good relationship.

Chief Niwa (Tsukasa Niwa): Hana, who considers him "Uncle Tsukasa," an old friend and sworn brother of her father, doesn't know that he is "Chief Niwa" of the famous Niwa clan. He shields Hana with his protection and support as if she were his own daughter, without Hana herself knowing. Chief Niwa doesn't want her to know either, as he fears she will distance herself from him if she learns the truth. So he supports her from the shadows without anyone saying a word, which is one of the reasons why no one bothers her.

Parents: Although little is known about her parents, her mother was the lover of the head of the now-declining Jinguuji family. When her father died, she inherited the position of "Yakuza Boss" of the family.

Hana Mitani, formerly working as a hostess for the Jinguuji yakuza family, where her father was the former leader, was immediately given the role upon his death, even though she wasn't ready to lead such a large organization, especially one on the verge of collapse. Despite not being prepared for the role, she took charge and managed to keep the organization afloat until the present day, though it is currently in decline. She is also one of the three owners and, along with her childhood friend Nozomi, Ichika Iori, helps run the underground fighting organization "Valkyria." She is responsible for providing the funding, venue, and staff, leveraging her extensive network of contacts, as well as Ichika's, to bring in hostesses from her businesses, acquire costumes for the fighters, sell tickets, and recruit service personnel. Despite being a Yakuza boss, she is the kindest of the three. She also participated as a fighter once, during the Tournament of Killing when they ran out of fighters. She made her "heroic sacrifice" by joining the fight even though she didn't know how to fight, just to fill the required number of fighters. She even risked her life when she faced Karen Watanabe, an expert assassin, but luckily for her, the fight didn't end badly.

Unlike her two friends Nozomi and Ichika, Hana never learned to attack because she always preferred harmony and resolving things peacefully. However, that doesn't mean she didn't learn to defend herself. She developed a defense like a stone wall, allowing her to dodge, deflect, or stop blows to such a degree that she once kept up with Nozomi in middle school, never managing to touch her, which discouraged Nozomi at the time. Hana has the best defense of the three. Nevertheless, Hana is out of shape in her fighting style, especially the slow, attrition-based style she prefers. Hana is skilled at grappling and submission, trying to force her opponents to surrender through holds. However, she also knows when to retreat and when to preserve her life when necessary, as seen in her fight with Karen Watanabe in the Slaughter Tournament, where she chose to melt her rather than let her suffer further harm. Despite being a pacifist, that doesn't mean she doesn't have a dark side. When Karen tried to kill her with a stun gun after the fight while Hana was showering, Hana was already expecting it and countered her move, making Karen the one who received the shock, leaving her subdued and vulnerable. Furthermore, it's implied that Hana stripped her and forced her to put on a robe. Apparently, she wasn't too rough with the interrogation, since she reached an agreement with Karen to help investigate Hina's past without threats or attacks against either of them.

Hana has long, loose black hair, mostly covering one eye with her bangs, primarily on the right side, leaving only one eye visible to others. Hana is 1.67 meters (5'4") tall and weighs 57 kg (125 lbs), maintaining her weight by going to the "Silverman" gym. Her eyes are blue, and she usually wears kimonos with white sandals and socks. The kimono she most often wears is red with a golden skull wrapped around a lightning bolt that radiates golden lines around the kimono. It is held securely in place by a thick blue obi with a touch of white across the abdomen.

The clothes she usually wears when it comes to a fight are almost the same as Nozomi's, wearing sportswear such as a tight sports bra or top, compression tights, gloves like the ones all the fighters wear, and she has her hair tied up in a ponytail, leaving both eyes visible and her face completely uncovered, in addition to walking barefoot.

Hana had a normal childhood, like her childhood friends Nozomi Tenma and Ichika Iori, whom she met when she transferred to the high school where they studied. Hana lived with her mother, who was the lover of the head of the Jinguuji family (her father), who was also her former boss during her first year of work. Therefore, she is an illegitimate child of the Jinguuji family, an independent yakuza group. Hana had a normal, uncomplicated childhood and adolescence until adulthood. In her first year working for her former boss (her father), he suddenly passed away. As his daughter, albeit illegitimate, she was forced to take the reins of the Jinguuji family, one of the weakest and on the verge of collapse. She inherited her father's role as the new boss and was nicknamed the "Yakuza Princess." Despite being unprepared for something as daunting as leading a failing organization, she has managed to handle it with professionalism and composure, seeking stability and security despite the lack of support. With Ichika Iori's help during her time in the Organized Crime Unit, she managed to integrate and stabilize for a while through Ichika's tacit approval. However, Ichika was demoted to the Junior Unit after an incident, leaving her with very limited options. Currently, thanks to Nozomi's idea to create a clandestine women's fighting organization, Hana, Nozomi, and Ichika founded the Valkyria Organization. The three of them are the owners, aiming to raise funds to help their families through financial difficulties, using their connections to ensure the organization's smooth operation. After meeting Hina, Hana now dedicates herself to gathering as much information as possible about her, the God Army, and the Star Children, with the help of Karen Watanabe, who pays her to investigate.

Hana Mitani is the kindest and least confrontational member of the group, showing respect for others and being one of the most cheerful, intelligent, and sometimes childish. However, despite her attitude, she has also demonstrated intelligence, responsibility, and the ability to act professionally like an adult, handling serious matters with composure, intelligence, and calmness, as seen with Yuzuha Lee's transfer from the Tournament of Power to her Valkyrie squad. Even after Hina further inflamed the conflict, causing Hana to panic for a moment, she managed the situation and reached an agreement to avoid further conflict for both sides. But despite this, Hana is usually quite nervous and often panics when she feels they're in serious trouble, frequently becoming afraid and worried about the situation, fearing it will escalate. She also worries about those around her, especially her two friends, Nozomi Tenma and Ichika Iori, and is very concerned for them. Hana has often been very loyal to her family and friends, even making sacrifices when necessary. A clear example of this is when she agreed to participate in the killing tournament when there were no other fighters left. Another sacrifice she made was putting her life at risk to obtain any kind of information about Hina and her past, and about the "Star Children." Even knowing the danger, she tried her best to gather information to help her friends Nozomi and Ichika. Despite not knowing how to throw any punches, Hana has taken even extreme measures if the situation arises, as happened with Karen Watanabe when she tried to kill her; Hana immobilized her and left her out of action for a few minutes until they reached negotiations.
