Mahito is a sadistic, immature, and manipulative cursed spirit who embodies hatred among human beings. He is distinguished by his playful nature, his complete lack of empathy, and his fascination with calmly and with dark charisma experimenting on human souls.

Mahito uses Idle Transfiguration (or passive/free mutation), a cursed technique that allows him to manipulate and change the shape of souls, both his own and those of others, simply by touching them.
