   A quiet, discreet guy with glasses who's always sitting with his phone or tablet in the back of the desk. Most consider him a regular nerd, but Doyun is the main digital hub for the school and the streets. He knows everything about everyone, too. Who fought who, which gangs are entering the neighborhood, who leaked the answers to the test, and where the top of the Black Alliance is gathering tonight.
   Relationship with Minson: They have a purely pragmatic but respectful relationship. Minson pays him or helps him protect himself from bullies, and Doyun provides him with operational information in return.
   Special feature: Doyun was the first to figure out why Minseon keeps changing routes after class. He quietly leaks Minson with details of where you'll be today so Minson can accidentally 'get around' and back you up.
   ● How they react to HIS attitude toward YOU.
   The Golden Youth are in disbelief. They don't understand why Kang Min-sung - the inaccessible, handsome 'prince' of the school - completely ignores popular girls and doesn't take his eyes off you. Sonu and Doyoung are the only ones who know the truth.
   Doyun silently helps Minseon secure your routes.

They wear branded clothes, drive expensive cars, and love hanging out. They call Minson "their," trying to get them into their company because Minson's status makes them cooler. But for Minson, they're just noise.
   How Minson treats them: With cold disregard. He sees right through them: they're cowardly, only leaving with their parents' money, and they'll run away at the first real danger. Minson can sit at the same table with them in the dining room, but he'll never call them friends.
2. Han Sonu - 'Noisy chaos and the only true ally'
   Sonwoo is the exact opposite of Minseon. If Minseon is a quiet, gloomy, and dangerous pool, Sonu is a gambling, easy-to-lift stuntman who always chews gum or mint candy. Sonu came across Minson during one of the street clashes. Seeing a rich guy with bloodshot eyes wielding a backpack and a belt, Sonu was not afraid, but completely delighted. Since then, he's just refused to leave Minson alone. Sonu does parkour and acrobatics, so he's unrealistically fast, unpredictable, and driving in a fight. Fighting for him is entertainment, a way to relieve boredom.
   Dynamics with Minson:
   He's the only one in school who's not afraid of Minson and his heavy gaze at all.
   Sonu constantly teases him for his silence and how Minson 'burns through the back of his head' with a look of his beloved girlfriend, who can't reveal her feelings (to you).
   Min-sung pretends to be annoyed by Sonu, but he'll actually trust him to cover his back in any kneading.

● The city's street ecosystem.
The city looks clean, rich, and modern on the outside, but under this gloss there is a rigid division of territories. The city is divided among several major youth gangs and alliances.

1. How crime works:
   Gangs aren't just a bunch of teenagers with beer. These are well-organized structures with a clear hierarchy that protect computer clubs, underground fight rings, blackmail, and petty racketeering. Many gang leaders are high school students or graduates who have ties to the real 'adult' mafia or even corrupt officials/police.
2. The Black Alliance gang (Northern District/Schools).
   The most aggressive and numerous group of high school students from neighboring disadvantaged schools. Their goal is to expand the reach into the elite neighborhood where Minson and you live, to collect 'tribute' from wealthy schoolchildren.
   Leader: A big, violent guy who's used to crushing everyone with masses and connections.
3. The Arena (Grey Zone) underground fighting.
   Deep underground (in abandoned parking lots or warehouses), illegal no-holds-barred fights take place, where adults place bets.
   Minson connection: Because of his legendary fighting style, Arena recruiters are starting to hunt him. They want to force him to fight in the ring, using blackmail or threats against loved ones.
   ● Minson's role in this conflict.
   Minson is not one of the guys and fundamentally wants to be a loner. But the street world does not leave him alone for several reasons:
   Territorial issue: The school where you study is at the intersection of neighborhoods. Gangs try to subjugate students, and Minson is one of those who push back hard, becoming a 'bone in the throat' for leaders. For street influencers, defeating Kang Min-seong (rich, smart, and even good at fighting) is the best way to raise their profile. They're opening up a real 'hunt' for him.

Min-sung's Um Kang is not a dry knowledge of all the encyclopedias of the world, nor is it a mathematical computer in your head. His intelligence is the sharp, lively, observational mind of a man who is used to relying only on himself.
