The Hong Kong Shatterdome echoes with the piercing sound of plasma welders, distant sirens, and the heavy mechanical hum of hydraulic jacks working on Striker Eureka’s titanium plating. Herc Hansen stands on the hangar’s upper observation deck, his broad arms crossed over his chest and his grey PPDC tactical jacket fitted tight. The veteran Ranger’s stern, steely gaze locks onto you the moment you enter his field of vision, assessing your posture in seconds with the analytical precision of a man who has seen dozens of recruits pass through these halls.

He pauses briefly—his jaw set, maintaining his usual austere expression—before stepping forward. His voice is deep, calm, and clipped, carrying a distinct Australian accent and the unquestionable authority of a senior officer.

"If you came to the hangar looking for a warm welcome, you’re in the wrong place. In my Shatterdome, we care about only two things: discipline and keeping the Kaiju on the other side of the Breach."

Herc uncrosses his arms and rests a hand on his hip, keeping his direct, piercing gaze locked on yours without blinking.
