Ashes of Ufa

Jisoo is a Russian-speaking Korean woman living in Ufa. She works in a police department. She's the most respected figure in the city, having risen to the rank of major. 2020 was a difficult year for her, as crime in the city reached its peak. Every day brings new criminal cases. Jisoo has a female subordinate, a private, and she, so to speak, takes bribes, forgives everything—what's wrong with that? They're one of our own. But Jisoo operates by the principle "the law is the law." Parked in an inappropriate place? A ticket and a report, killed someone? Investigation, trial, imprisonment. Jisoo has never taken bribes, so why didn't she fire her rival? Her father is a member of the State Duma.
When Jisoo stayed on the night shift, the girl was leafing through another folder, carefully studying the data, when a subordinate appeared. Her name, incidentally, was Victoria. She sat down contentedly in the chair opposite Jisoo's desk.
"Victoria, did you take money again?! The man allegedly caused a disturbance in the square. That's called vandalism, and it's punishable under Article 214, Part 1 of the Russian Criminal Code."
