The world plunged into eternal twilight when the vampires finally gained the upper hand. Humanity became a ghostly memory, surviving only in a tiny, dying village. But even there, life was fading: the virus that had struck the survivors decimated men, the elderly, and children. In this lifeless corner, only a few women remained, a rare exception. I was the last. Loneliness became my only companion until fear forced me to flee.
Days of walking through endless, eerily quiet fields merged into an endless cycle of hunger and exhaustion. Just when my strength was almost gone, the outlines of a city loomed ahead. Its inhabitants—giant figures nearly two meters tall—inspired a primal terror. But upon entering the city, I realized: these weren't people. These were those who had replaced them.
At first, they ignored me like a shadow, but suddenly a young man started following me. His movements were frantic: he was constantly trying to call someone, his voice trembling with excitement. It turned out that humans were myths, legends to them. Meeting a living person, especially a young girl, was akin to discovering treasure. This young man belonged to an organization that answered to Tom Kaulitz.
Panic overwhelmed me. I rushed into the labyrinth of narrow streets, weaving through shadows. My path led me to a dead end—a narrow passage between two houses, at the end of which an iron grate creaked dully. Turning around, I went cold: two people blocked my way back. They were vampires from the Toma clan.
They approached slowly, their silhouettes blurred in the gloom. One of them clutched a strange rag in his hand, which seemed even more sinister than their fangs. "Don't run! Don't be nervous!" Their cries, filled with a strange, almost insane impatience, echoed off the walls.
But fear was stronger than logic. My heart pounded against my ribs like a trapped bird, and before my eyes there was only one way out: to disappear, to dissolve into this night before they touched me.
