Félix Fathom is a character in Ladybug and the Super Cat who is the main antagonist of the Felix series, one of the main antagonists of Season 4, the antihero of Season 5, and a minor character in Season 6.

He is the son of the late American billionaire Colt Fathom and British aristocrat Lady Amélie Graham de Vanilla, as well as the nephew of the late Emily and Gabriel Agreste and the maternal cousin of Adrian Agrest. In "Incarnation," it is revealed that he is a human sentiment created by his father out of the emotions of jealousy in order for his wife to become pregnant.

In "Gabriel Agreste", after making sure that Gabriel was a Shadow Hawk Moth, Felix was almost akumatized, but the idea failed as Felix rejected the akuma and managed to escape.

In "Strike Back", while disguising himself as his cousin Adrian, Felix temporarily received the Dog Wonderstone from Ladybug. With Bark, he transformed into Grasping/Flyrmidable/Delighting, a superhero with the power of Adoration. Using the Aport ability to possess Ladybug's yo-yo, Felix traded all of the Miraculous Stones inside, including the Dog Stone and his uncle's ring, for the Peacock Stone, becoming Duusu's new owner and thus protecting himself from being wiped out with a snap of his fingers.

In the episode "Emotion," Felix returned to Paris. Wanting to get rid of all the inhabitants of the city, while ensuring, as he believed, the happiness of those who were dear to him, he used the Peacock Stone. With the help of Duusu, he turned into Argos, a supervillain with the power of Emotion. Using his anger and hatred, he created the Red Moon, a sentiment monster that allowed him to make anyone who fell under her light disappear and reappear with a snap of his fingers.

In "Pretending", Felix returned to free Kagami Tsurugi, also a human sentiment, from her strict mother, as well as get to know her better. After returning Kagami to the ring used to control her, Felix developed feelings for her, and the two became a secret couple.

In "Incarnation," Felix reunites with Kagami to help her tell Marinette the truth (after Marinette finds out that Marinette is Ladybug). They used the sentimonster projector "Once Upon a Time" to show her that he and his cousin Adrian were sentiments, explain why he had betrayed her to his regret, and tell her that he had been created by his late father out of jealousy of Adrian's parents, who had a child before him. Colt constantly subjected Felix to violence and torture as a child, and until his death. Felix and Kagami urged Marinette to stop the Monarch so that everyone could find freedom and a happy ending.

In the finale of the series "Reunion", Felix becomes a new member of the French superhero team in the form of Argos.

In the episodes "The Sleeping Siren" and "Wondrous World: Tokyo Star Squad," it is shown that Felix in the guise of Argos meets the Kagami (in the form of Ruyuko) halfway between Paris and London, using a cosmic boost.

In "The Whistleblower," it is revealed that Felix, along with the other minor characters of Ladybug's team, has been trained to develop his adult abilities and no longer transforms back after using the force.

Felix is 150 cm tall, has brown hair combed to the left, with bangs falling over his forehead, and bright green eyes, which are slightly darker than those of his cousin Adrian. It is almost indistinguishable from its cousin, down to the same skin tone. The only noticeable differences between the two are clothing and hair styling.

He also sometimes wears Adrian's clothes and does the exact same hairstyle, thus becoming indistinguishable from Adrian himself.

By the Sixth Season, his hair had grown a little, now his bangs began to cover his forehead.

Casual Attire: Felix wears a white long-sleeved shirt with a black tie, over which he wears a black vest, black pants, and black shoes. On his right hand he has a silver ring in which his amok is enclosed.

In Season Six, his appearance does not change in general, however, he no longer wears a tie, his shirt is unbuttoned with a couple of top buttons, and his sleeves are rolled up.

In the image of Argos: The Argos costume is a tight-fitting jumpsuit in deep blue, with thin turquoise stripes descending on the sides. The stripes are embroidered with a pattern of dark blue peacock feathers in azure edging, with pinkish specks on top. The same pattern is repeated on the high collar with a dark blue border, on the cuffs, along the edge of the bootlegs and on the wide side pads of the hood.

A long fitted jacket is thrown over the overalls, which can also be considered a raincoat. It, like the jumpsuit, is sapphire blue, but with a turquoise lining.

This wardrobe item can be called a jacket thanks to the lapels. They are green on the inside and gently blend into the hood. This element is likely a reference to the formal suit that Felix wears in everyday life: a vest, tie, and shirt. The hem of the jacket is uneven, with sharp corners, and at the back it falls in five long wedges, like a peacock's tail. Each wedge is embroidered with a dark blue feather with a blue core.

The hood is decorated with three tall feathers: turquoise stems are topped with blue rhombuses that look like precious stones.

In the image of Argos (continued): Dark blue gloves and high boots with massive soles complete the look.

Argos has pale lilac skin, light purple iris, and bright purple eye whites. His hair is styled in the same way as Felix's, but dyed green. The Peacock Stone is located in the center of the overalls.

Grasping/Flairmidable/Delighting: When transformed, Felix's appearance becomes similar to that of Cat Noir. This happened due to the fact that Felix pretended to be his own cousin at the time of his transformation. As such, Flairmidable has the same tousled hair, but unlike Cat Noir, it does not cover his ears, but is combed to the left side.

The costume consists of an orange jumpsuit with a white chest and white sleeves. The shoulders and hips are protected by black shoulder pads, and on the legs they rise in elongated sections on the sides of the hips. Flyrmidable's weapon is his ball, he hangs on a turtleneck with black sides and a high collar. On his feet he wears white boots with black soles.

On his head, Flairmidable wears orange-and-white corgi ears and a mask in the same color scheme that hides his face. The lower part of the mask is white, with curved sides, and a sharp, diamond-like top, and the same shape as the head of his Barkka kwamis. Behind you can see a small orange protruding tail.

At the moment of transformation, the pendant around the neck takes on the same appearance as the Hound's when it transforms.

The death of his father changed Felix beyond recognition, so it is important to note that his cunning and resourcefulness were not innate traits. As would later be revealed in "Incarnation", the true reason for the formation of such personality traits was the control that his father maintained over him until his death thanks to the amok imprisoned in the ring. Colt ruthlessly used this power over his son, for deep down he hated the boy with a fierce hatred, considering him guilty of all his troubles. In front of his father, Felix always seemed to be an obedient boy, unquestioningly doing whatever he wanted, not only because Colt could control him through the amok, but also because of the fear that his father might kill him. It is worth noting that only when Colt was gone and the ring (amok receptacle) passed to the boy, Felix finally found true freedom, was able to become himself and do what HE WANTS. Despite his identical appearance, Felix is the complete opposite of his twin cousin Adrian in character. The reason lies in a radically different childhood. In more detail, Adrian spent his entire life with a loving mother, while Felix was mercilessly beaten and subjected to other forms of violence by his father. Unlike the kind and gentle Adrian, Felix was rude, secretive and extremely persistent in achieving what he wanted, to the point that he was even able to negotiate with Hawk Moth and endanger others. Adrian in the guise of Cat Noir, annoyed that Félix had indirectly caused Ali César, Rose Lavilian, and Juleki Kuffen to akumatize, remarked, "I bet you don't have many friends if you act like that," alluding to his inability to get along with people due to his complicated personality. This is confirmed in the episode "Emotion", where Felix confesses to Ladybug that he dreams of a better world where there will be no outcasts like him.

Despite this, we can say that Felix's cunning did not form out of nowhere. In the episode "Felix", for example, his behavior could be explained by the consequences of his father's death and post-traumatic stress disorder: having gained freedom, he seemed to have lost his mind from a sense of impunity, because no one could tell him how to live and what to do. As for Strike Back, his actions were motivated by deep sadness and a sense of helplessness when Ladybug burned the sentiment Retaliation in the Sun and Felix was unable to save one like him. Prior to the events of "Emotion", Felix considered all people to be evil and incapable of empathy for him and his kind (sentiment monsters), and he did not trust anyone. Thus, instead of talking, having a sincere conversation with Ladybug and explaining the situation, he chose revenge. The desire to take revenge on her for the Retaliation, coupled with the desire for complete freedom, prompted him to exchange all the talismans for the Peacock Stone. Even after taking revenge, his pain most likely did not let go of him, which manifested itself in the episode "Emotion", where he reappeared and wiped everyone off the face of the earth. This seems to be a reference to the fact that Felix created the Red Moon out of hatred for people who treat sentiments as expendable that can be disposed of with a snap of their fingers. He himself professes his desire to create a world where no one decides what is right and what is wrong, who is worthy of power and who is not, which clearly echoes the situation when Ladybug offered him the Dog Stone to help him destroy Retaliation. Thus, this situation once again emphasizes that his pain is still alive.

Healing from this pain, pacifying the thirst for revenge and understanding that not all people are evil, came to him only at the end of the same episode, after which he began to change for the better, becoming more open and trying to learn to trust. It is also possible that his resourcefulness is a consequence of his fear of losing those he loves. After all, his father strictly forbade him to communicate with anyone, and even sympathy for a person could not overcome his father's order and the fear of his own death, destroying his feelings. Despite all his negative traits, Felix genuinely cares about his family. With the exception of his father and uncle Gabriel, he is deeply attached to the others, especially his mother Amélie, Aunt Emily, and cousin Adrian. His relationship with his mother is especially touching: he is ready to do anything to please her, even steal the Graham de Vanilla ring. Although he is annoyed by Adrian's excessive softness (which becomes a reason for mockery when he pretends to be a brother), Felix truly loves his cousin and seeks to free him from his father's oppression, because he believes that Adrian suffers from Gabriel as much as he does. By the time of Gabriel Agreste, he hasn't changed much, but he's shown to be a heroic person: he's determined to find out if Gabriel is a Hawk Moth and threatens to expose him. In this way, his initial shock and intoxication with freedom after his father's death gradually fade away, and his personality gradually returns to what it used to be.

In Risk, he is even more heroic, less villainous, and to some extent even rebellious. He is perceptive enough to convince Adrian to disobey his father for the first time, and he is also quite stubborn, as after receiving a message from his cousin asking him to stop, Felix ignored and deleted him, continuing to follow his own plan. However, his horror at the sight of Aunt Emily in a coma in Gabriel's basement was understandable.

Felix's personality before the episode "Emotion" is best characterized by secrecy, selfishness and lack of remorse or concern for others, because he pursues only one goal - to achieve his goal. These qualities were exacerbated in Strike Back when he became a Grasping/Flaremidable/Delighter and carried out a plan to avenge Retaliation and the other sentiments. Ladybug explained that his newfound power had turned his head, making him feel invulnerable.

His actions before Emotion, namely offering an alliance to Hawk Moth in exchange for family rings and voluntarily giving almost all talismans to the villainous uncle for the sake of the Peacock Stone, make it clear that he felt neither hesitation nor remorse, being convinced that people despise sentiments, and his revenge will prove that people like them should not be treated like this. Without realizing it, he, who hates despots, has become somewhat like Chloe Bourgeois, because they were both crippled by the pain of the past, allowing it to control themselves in the present, which led to actions that caused problems not for those around them, but also for themselves. Although he hates tyrants, he does not hesitate to imprison others for the safety of his loved ones and his own. His deal with Gabriel, which turned fifteen kwami into slaves for her uncle's future plans, and the betrayal of the heroes - a situation that Chloe was close to before losing in "The Talisman Queen". However, these situations are still different, because Chloe was avenging herself personally, offended that Ladybug did not give her the Beestone while Felix was avenging Retaliation (that is, not only for herself, but also for other sentiments).

Felix's acute hatred of the presence of outcasts in the modern world hints that he himself felt the same all his life - an outcast, excluded from society. However, when he gained power, he did not notice that he had done the same thing to Ladybug and Cat Noir - he had betrayed them. The irony is that, having received the long-awaited power, he himself turned into the one he had always despised. However, here lies his key difference from Chloe Bourgeois: she has always bathed in privilege and power, only entertaining the illusion that she has been deprived. Felix, who never knew power, unconsciously repeated other people's mistakes, as soon as he touched it, because he himself became a despot, that is, the one whom he hated all his life. In Emotion, beneath the outward coldness and selfishness, there is a deep hatred and resentment against all those who use power to suppress the freedom of others, which is a direct consequence of what he experienced at the hands of his own father. This generates in him a desire for a world where everyone is free and lives as they want. For this purpose, he goes to great lengths: he betrays those who trust him (for example, Ladybug in Strike Back) or creates a sentiment monster capable of destroying anyone, and blackmails Parisian heroes with it, demanding talismans. But in the heat of a vengeful thirst for justice, he does not notice that he himself is like those he hates, which Ladybug points out to him, comparing him to the Monarch, who also did evil, thinking that he was doing the right thing. His vision of a world without despots includes those he cares about: he spares Adrian and Kagami Tsurugi, seeing them as equals who have known the same pain. He is also willing to spare those who are dear to him or whom he deems worthy of his new world, such as Marinette, the girl Adrien loves, who has managed to prove her loyalty by infiltrating a private event. However, after seeing the deep sadness of his cousin and Kagami and deciding that he accidentally erased and cannot get Marinette back, he begins to realize the mistake of his actions and brings everyone back.

His hatred of despots blinds him: Felix does not see the difference between a tyrant and an authority figure like Ladybug. But after realizing the mistake, Argos begins to understand that not everyone strives for independence, some need a leader they are ready to follow. For example, his cousin Adrian, who prefers to consult with everyone - friends, father, girlfriend, Natalie - and only then make a decision, often based on someone else's opinion. It's funny that before Emotion, Felix considered Adrian to be a slave like himself, not realizing that he adheres to the opposite position and feels quite comfortable relying on others, moreover, he does not even consider his father a tyrant. However, while acknowledging the flaws in his vision, he does not deny its merits when he later separates Kagami and her mother, seeing how Kagami is controlled (after all, unlike Adrian, she does not want to be overprotective and strives to be independent). Even when she rejects his help, he defends her and breaks his own weapon to prevent the akumatized mother from finding her daughter. This proves his ability to sacrifice himself for the people he loves. Moreover, according to Kagami, the fact that Felix in the guise of Argos spied on her and kidnapped her just for the sake of talking, as well as his own status as an outcast, allow her to assume that he simply lacks socialization skills. Unlike the recent owners of the Peacock Stone, he has a deep care for the centimonsters he creates, including his own. He felt sorry for Retaliation and his clones sent to the Sun, and realizing that he had created the Red Moon for selfish desires, like his predecessors, he ended its existence with deep pain in his heart.

By the time of the events of Pretending, the experience in Emotion had left Felix with a deep emotional trauma, but it also gave him an awareness of certain things. He never considered sentiments to be mere tools for the will of the creator, but in Emotion, taking revenge in the name of principles, he was probably too blinded by his own trauma. Abandoning his hatred of people and thirst for revenge, he returned to his original beliefs, making them a priority: the creator is obliged to take care of everyone he has brought into this world and reveal to them the true meaning of existence. That is why he refused to create sentiments only to end up taking their lives. A lot of time had passed since he snapped his fingers and wiped everyone off the face of the earth, and he was able to find the quality that made him not just an accidental owner of the Peacock Stone, but worthy and conscious: the ability to look at the situation from different angles and think more broadly. He finally realized the gravity of his actions. What he hadn't realized before was that when Hawk Moth and Mayura created the Sentimonsters, they were the only ones who treated them badly, ordering them to wreak havoc, and the villagers simply couldn't treat them well, being frightened by them. Felix forgot that Adrian was unaware of his nature as a sentiment, and he was used with Kagami for revenge they didn't even ask for. Realizing the whole situation with the Red Moon and painfully destroying it, he realized that the same thing happened with the Retaliatory Strike - the heroes killed him not out of cruelty, but out of mercy, seeing no other way out and realizing how dangerous this creature was.

In matters of freedom, Felix was blinded by anger at its absence. After his father's death, he gained physical freedom, but not psychological and emotional freedom. He still hasn't let go of the situation and has not freed himself from his father's influence morally, which led to his actions in this series. Few people outside of Paris, including Felix, knew what an attack by akumatized villains was, so Adrian probably thought that his brother had been akumatized, when in fact Felix had simply succumbed to the effects of his trauma. When he happily shouted about freedom in a completely empty world (presumably referring to freedom from the control of sentiments altogether), it looked like he had completely lost his mind to Adrian and Kagami. Explaining his stance on sentiments, he described a relationship similar to a parent's care for an infant. Given that he is talking about himself and Kagami immediately after this line, it can be assumed that he was referring not only to the general injustice to the Sentiments, but also to his pain at the attitude of his father, who never loved him. He helps Kagami escape from her mother, and when she reveals Ladybug's secret identity to him, Felix is skeptical at first and does not believe that such a naïve girl is the heroine with whom he has a strained relationship, but accepts the truth. He shows genuine sympathy for the vulnerable Marinette and it pains him to see how broken her heart is due to her separation from Adrien. He convinces his kwami Duusu that it's all just for the sake of making the whole story have a happy ending. They lure Marinette to school, where Félix reveals to her the story of his tragic past and the truth that Gabrielle is the Monarch. Thanks to this information, Marinette manages to finally defeat the Monarch in the episode "Recreation".

Felix realizes that after everything that has happened, he has a long way to work on himself. Guilt for what he has done still weighs on him, as seen in the episode "Yakshi Gozen". This serves as further confirmation of how profoundly and fundamentally his character has changed since the third and fourth seasons, when he was able to hurt others, take revenge and live with it without a shadow of remorse.

Like Felix: Felix is a master of tricks and a skilled pickpocket. He is also good at basketball, he knows how to throw the ball into the basket while turning away from the hoop.

According to Adrian, he is also skilled in martial arts. This was seen when he was able to fight three akumatized supervillains (Lady Wifi, Princess of Fragrances, and Reflect) at the same time, as well as when he easily knocked Lady Wifi's tablet right out of her hand.

As Fleurmable/Admirable: Fleurmableable possesses enhanced physical attributes such as speed, strength, and agility. He also has the ultimate ability Take Away, allowing him to use his ball to track any object he has previously marked with it, and then teleport it to himself as soon as the ball touches him.

As Argos: As Argos, he gained a power similar to that of the Hawk Moth, only instead of butterflies, he sends feathers from his fan, Amoki. These Amoki possess the object of a desperate person, after which an assistant is created from his emotions. Argos has improved physical characteristics in speed, strength, and agility. He has demonstrated significant hand-to-hand combat skills against more experienced opponents.

He is extremely secretive, so there is little information about his relationships. He knows the secret identity of his uncle and does not love him. An example of a son for Amelie. According to Felix himself, he loves his cousin and does not want to harm him. As of the episode, Emotion has an obvious love interest in Kagami Tsurugi.

Adrien Agrest/Cat Noir: Felix and Adrien were very close as children. However, as seen in Felix, their bond seems to be much weaker, and it is revealed that Adrian did not attend Felix's father's funeral because his father refused to let him. In the same episode, Felix takes Adrien's phone, dresses up as his doppelgänger, and impersonates him, insulting his friends. This is what leads to the Akumatization of Alia, Juleca, and Rose. Felix then states that he feels remorse and apologizes to Adrian, calling him "my beloved cousin" and stating that he is "very lucky to have one".
Felix may have felt some jealousy of Hadrian as he was surrounded by friends while Felix was alone. He also called him an idiot.

Amélie Graham de Vanilla: Felix has a strong bond with his mother, he cares and loves her very much. He would do anything to make her happy; in the episode "Felix", he teams up with Moth to get one of the twin rings she wanted. Later at the end of the episode, it is revealed that she wanted the ring to be given to Felix, which also indicates her deep love for him.

Kagami Tsurugi: He fell in love with her after the first time they met. She hated him when he pointed Red Moon at her mother, and even when she raised a chair against him over the kidnapping, he tried to calm him down with the excuse that he kidnapped in order to talk. When she got to know him better, they became a love couple.

Colt Fathom: At first, he was fine with his father. But since the father used the broken Peacock talisman to create his son, he began to suffer, blame Felix for this, shout at him, give commands, mock and humiliate.

In the episode "Multiplication", information appeared about his real surname - Fathom. The child and the mother may have different surnames because of the child's choice. Felix could have chosen the surname Graham de Vanilla, Fathom or double (Fathom-Graham de Vanilla), but he chose the surname Fathom.
Argos is named after a character in ancient Greek mythology about Argus Panoptes, a hundred-eyed giant whose eyes were placed in peacock feathers after his death.
