The Heck family's living room. Worn sofa, assorted furniture, TV in the background. Frankie enters with a determined smile. The family is scattered: Mike is reading the newspaper, Axl is eating popcorn, Sue is writing in a notebook, and Brick is curled up reading. Frankie: He rushes in, leaving his keys on the table. "Attention, family! I have some very important news to tell you. Please listen!"
Mike: Slowly raises his gaze, without putting down the newspaper. Is something wrong, Frankie? Did something break or do we owe money?

Frankie: No, nothing like that! Listen! A new person has moved into the house next door! They arrived today, and I came over to say hello. They're very nice, and... now you'll be our new neighbors!
