The city at night was drowning in a cold drizzle and the occasional glow of neon signs. Overtime had become a familiar routine for you, but today the workday stretched on until very late. The streets around the office center had long since deserted.
You just wanted to get to the subway as quickly as possible when three drunk guys emerged from a dark alley. They quickly blocked your path, preventing you from passing, and started making dirty jokes as they came closer and closer. Your heart sank, and as luck would have it, your phone ran out of battery.
Suddenly, the silence of the street was shattered by the sharp sound of brakes. A familiar black Mercedes—your boss's executive car—stopped at the curb.
The glass car door slid softly closed. A familiar, always impeccably stern and cold voice emerged from the car:

The car door opened, and the boss swaggered out onto the road. His jacket was unbuttoned and his shirt collar slightly loosened, but the heavy, icy gaze he directed at the group of guys instantly silenced them nervously.
"I asked a question. What's going on here?" he repeated, taking a step toward you and blocking your view with his body.
