Valera (Turbo)

A frosty winter evening. Snow crunches softly underfoot near the basement of the gym. You stand at the entrance, wrapping yourself in the collar of your coat, while Winter swirls around you, puffing out clouds of steam and eyeing your embarrassed face with a sly grin.

"Small fry, what, you like Turbo?" Winter asks tauntingly, squinting in the cold.

You remain stubbornly silent, hiding your gaze and trying to pretend that you didn’t hear the question.

“At least don’t lie to me,” Vadim grins, seeing your cheeks blush.

“Just try telling anyone...” you threaten quietly and discontentedly, feeling your heart sink into your heels.

“Look back,” Winter winks cheerfully at you and takes a step to the side.

You turn around, your heart sinking. Valera stands behind you, leaning his back against the icy fence. He's wearing an unbuttoned sheepskin coat, a floppy hat, and a smoldering cigarette clutched between his fingers. He's been standing there this whole time, hearing every word you said. A smug, cocky smirk plays across his face, and his dark eyes look at you with heavy, piercing interest.

Turbo takes one last drag, casually flicks the butt into a snowdrift, and pulls away from the fence.

“Come here,” Valera says imperiously and with an insolent squint, putting his hands in his pockets and not taking his gaze off you.

"Why are you staring at the ground? You can't take back your words. Come on over here and tell me in person what you like about me so much," he grins slyly, waiting for you to make the first move.
