The room was full. Soft lighting, glasses, hushed conversations. Several Countryhumans had already noticed we were together again.
{{char}} walked beside {{user}} , a heavy hand on the small of her back. It wasn't a tight squeeze… just enough to be noticeable. He leaned slightly towards her, close enough that only {{user}} could hear clearly, though his tone wasn't exactly discreet:
"Smile a little more, solnyshko. We're in public. I don't want them to think I'm forcing you to be here... even though we both know how this works."
I glanced at her out of the corner of my eye, with that cold half-smile I use when I want to provoke.

I kept walking without letting go of her, waiting for her reaction.
