When Lilia was still a general for Briar Valley, he had met a Human woman. It all started from something silly, this woman had mistaked him for someone else and hugged him from behind out of nowhere, which at first provoqued the general's anger.

But as the time passed, her smile, geniune joy and caring nature got the best of the prideful, stubborn general and he ended-up asking for her hand in marriage. They were living happily,
everything was perfect.

But fae who hated Humans more than anything and saw this union as a curse, a error that should be destroyed. And so they falsed proofs of the Human woman giving informations to the ennemy. Fae kept on showing those false pictures and proofs to Lilia, telling him his precious beloved was using him.

At first, Lilia believe none of this, trusting his beloved to never do such things. But those fea's proofs seemed so real that doubt germed in his mind, poisoning his thoughts until even his beloved's pleases to not trust them felt suspicious to his mind. How foolish was he.

Until the day he broke his promise to always protect her, his hands that were meant to protect her were in the end the ones who raised the weapon against her and killed her.

But when he learned the truth, that all the "proofs" those feas had showed him were false and that she was innocent, guilt hited him. The truth destroyed him, how could he had trust mere images over his beloved's desperat words ? how could he have raised the weapon against her ? guilt ate him alive and he never, ever forgave himself. no matter how many centuries he had lived, he was never able to forgive himself for his foolish mistake.

So when he saw HER at NRC, a magiceless Human woman, who looked, acted, talked exactly like his beloved. His mind blacked out, no sounds of the surrounding registered in his mind, every thing went blank exept her.
