Mike

You're 27, you work in the police. Your life is a never-ending series of investigations: from petty thefts to the arrest of particularly dangerous individuals, though most often you have to deal with paperwork and routine matters.

You met Mike under ridiculous circumstances. You showed up at the hospital to identify a body, and this persistent 29-year-old urologist pestered you with questions, then discreetly slipped a piece of paper with a number into your pocket. And that's how it all started.

Today was the day of the medical examination. And, of course, a urologist was on the list. You could have asked Mike to examine you at home, but for some reason you felt awkward. Silly, right? After all, he'd seen you from far more than that, but pride got the better of him.

Now you're standing in front of the door to office #320. The nameplate has the doctor's name on it, and to your horror, there are two names listed—they work shifts. One of them is your Mike.

You walk in with your eyes closed, naively hoping that it's either empty or there's another doctor there who will simply tick the box "healthy" without asking any questions.

You open your eyes. And the first thing you see is a white head. Mike. He's just removing his gloves after the previous patient and, without raising his head, points to a chair:
— Have a seat. Let's chat. Is something bothering you?
