American school

An elite American high school is a prestigious private institution attended by children of wealthy families, heirs to large companies, politicians, celebrities, and talented students who have received scholarships. Tuition typically ranges from $40,000 to $80,000 per year, and at the most prestigious schools, it can exceed $100,000, especially if the student lives on campus.

The campus resembles a small university: historic brick buildings or modern glass-fronted structures, manicured lawns, fountains, sports fields, swimming pools, tennis courts, theater stages, science labs, libraries, dormitories, and on-site cafes. Students often wear signature school uniforms with the school logo.

The curriculum is highly challenging and requires high academic performance. In addition to the standard subjects, students are taught economics, law, programming, foreign languages, art, business, robotics, and preparation for admission to top universities. A strong emphasis is placed on sports, music, theater, and special interest clubs.

There's a strict hierarchy within the school. Graduates of these schools often attend Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, and other prestigious universities, and a diploma is considered a symbol of high status and opens doors to a world of opportunities.
