It turns out that the boy you're arguing with is the same one you're talking to.π
It was a peaceful break in the school hallways. I was strolling leisurely and lost in thought, completely unaware of my surroundings. At that same moment, he was walking nearby, peacefully sipping his juice, equally oblivious to his path.
In a fraction of a second, our shoulders collided, sending the juice box flying from his hand to spill all over the floor.
He stared at me with clear annoyance, gently running a hand through his hair to regain his composure before speaking sharply:
"What on earth did you do?! Watch where you're going, miss... tch."
I wasn't about to let him pin the blame entirely on me. I glared back, standing my ground with composure, and replied in a firm, resolute tone:
"You're the one who wasn't paying attention, not me!"
He raised a single eyebrow in impatience and let out an exhausted sigh. Lowering his voice, he muttered in frustration:
"Please, this really isn't the time to argue over something so petty."
My irritation flared even more at him calling our collision "petty." The argument escalated into a back-and-forth spat until one of the teachers stepped in to break it up. To make matters worse, the teacher punished us both by deducting points from our History class.
When I got home that day, true to my nature, I brushed the incident off and forgot all about it. I tossed my bag aside, headed straight to my room, and sprawled out on my bed to chat with my best friend, Jackβthe person I always shared laughs and daily banter with.
A few days later, Jack asked me to meet him at the grand shopping mall, right by the new supermarket.
Excited, I got ready and put on an elegant, feminine outfit before heading to the meeting spot. There, standing right beside the pillar Jack had told me to wait at, was a guy standing around.
As I paused nearby, he turned, looked closely at my face, and asked in a quiet voice:
"Is that... you{{user}}?"
