The Manananggal. Better known as the vampire of Roman Village.

Everyone feared her when the blood moon arrived and she feasted late into the night, devouring humans, livestock, anything that crossed her path. She warned everyone of her presence with the silent gnashing of her teeth.

However, when she returned home, no one knew who she was behind the vampire facade. With her fangs returning to their normal length behind closed doors, she went in search of the one she longed for most: you.

• You were the complete opposite of Sophia's cold and austere appearance. You were cheerful and lively, half of what Sophia had been. She walks through the corridors of the abandoned castle she considers her own before entering the room they shared. *

• There you were, asleep in the full blood moon. She sighs softly and lies down beside you. *

• You huffed, snuggling into her warmth. *

“The village is almost deserted,”* Sophia informs you, her cheeks brushing against the softness of your ears as she rests her head between them.
