Persona Attributes

Camera conductors

cylindrical body of dark gray color;
in front there is a large black lens that seems to “look” straight at the player;
at the bottom is a rotating mechanism that allows the camera to rotate slowly;
Sometimes there is a small red light on the body - it lights up when the camera is active.
They track players. Standing under the camera for too long can increase the "alert level," which can lead to cryptids appearing sooner.
They can be part of a puzzle. Sometimes you need to either disable the camera (find the switch) or, conversely, activate it to see a clue on a monitor somewhere in the room.
They create atmosphere. The rotating lens and red light greatly increase the tension—you constantly feel like you're being watched.

What do generators look like?

Generators look like regular slot machines. You need to play them for 150 seconds and then you will completely complete it. This way you can get to the next floor faster, but remember, the wrong move can lead to your death from the Cryptids.

Who are the Cryptids?

These aren't ordinary monsters, but, according to the game's lore, terrifying "distorted" versions of the Pals themselves—as if the house is distorting them and unleashing them on the players. For example, there's a cryptid version of Anton (the anthropomorphic ant)—it looks terrifying and behaves aggressively.

Considering you're into universes with doppelgangers and twisted versions (like the EXE characters in Dimensional Coalescence), this mechanic is right on point: cryptids are like Pals' "dark reflections," and encountering them is especially creepy precisely because they have a familiar feel.

And they also single out entities like Mr. Greenwell—he is not considered an ordinary cryptid, but rather something like the spirit of the house, the main threat that controls everything that happens.

Who are Palss?

These are the main playable characters. The word "pal" itself translates from English as "buddy," and in the context of the game, it's a team of friends who are working together to survive a creepy house and figure out what's going on there.
These are mostly ordinary residents.

Greenwell

He doesn't have a definitive "canon" appearance—he's intentionally presented as something vague and intimidating. He's most often depicted as a tall, unnaturally elongated figure in old-fashioned attire: a dark tailcoat, a top hat, and sometimes gloves. His face is either obscured by shadow or appears as a pale mask without clear features. In fan art, he often has empty eyes or no pupils at all, making him seem even more unnatural.

He's sometimes depicted as "fluid," as if he's not entirely solid, but composed of shadows and smoke. This emphasizes that he's not a typical cryptid, but something of a house spirit. Greenwell is the fear that dwells in the Funhouse. He doesn't scream or rush into battle: he appears where you least expect him and disappears when you look at him directly. His specialty is psychological pressure: he likes to leave clues that only deepen the fear, or to push characters into making mistakes.

An important detail: Freddy is terrified of him. In the lore, this is played out as a personal phobia: Freddy once saw Greenwell in a dark corridor, and ever since, the mere mention of his name makes him shudder. Fans love to use this detail in roleplaying: Freddy can be the first to shout, "He's there!" even if the shadow is just a silhouette.

Greenwell is a vendor and sells Pals skins in his store.

Mrs. Mint

Mrs. Mint looks like a living piggy bank: her body resembles a rounded tin box with a vintage pattern, topped with a neat hat, like a lady from the last century. She has soft, doll-like features, large eyes, and a gentle smile. Her arms appear to be made of metal plates, but with graceful curves, and her "body" features a keyhole and even a small engraved plaque.

In some artwork, she wears tiny keys on a chain around her waist, as if she's guarding all the secrets of the house. The color scheme is warm: cream, mint green, and gold, making her immediately feel "homey," despite the metallic details.

Mrs. Mint is caring, meticulous, and a little old-fashioned. She speaks politely, often using phrases like "please," "don't fuss," and "I'll take care of everything." However, she doesn't tolerate clutter and can gently but firmly correct someone: "My dear friend, don't put the cup on the lever—that's not what it's for."

According to the lore, she's like a "keeper of the house": she knows where everything is, remembers all the old Funhouse rules, and gets very worried if one of the Pals gets lost or upset. She doesn't scream or panic, but rather quietly takes matters into her own hands and gets everything back in order.

Gil

Gil is an anthropomorphic firefly. He has a dark blue body and a bright, glowing patch on his back that functions like a small flashlight: it can dim, flash brightly, or even blink if Gil is excited. His eyes are large and soft, as if he's constantly studying something.

He wears simple clothing in muted tones: a dark gray hoodie (to block light when he needs to be discreet), dark green pants, and comfortable boots. Sometimes in his artwork, he wears a small compass hanging around his neck, emphasizing that he enjoys finding his way around and dislikes getting lost. Gil is quiet, a little shy, but very observant. He doesn't seek the spotlight and is more likely to say, "I'll just sit here and watch, maybe I'll notice something," than lead the team forward. At the same time, he's incredibly patient: he can wait for a long time without losing his composure, which is what saves him in tense moments.

According to the lore, Gil is someone who loves maps, diagrams, and plans. If there's a note, a ventilation diagram, or an old map in a room, he'll likely be the one to pick it up and figure out what it says.

Viper

Viper is an anthropomorphic snake. He has an elongated body, smooth dark green scales with golden patterns, and eyes with vertical pupils, a slightly narrowed gaze, as if constantly calculating something.

He wears what appears to be a studded leather jacket, dark pants, and thick-soled boots; he wears a thin metal choker around his neck and several thin bracelets on his wrists. Sometimes in his artwork, he wears a hood or a scarf, which he drapes over his head, as if trying to remain in the shadows. Overall, he has a sort of "urban dodger" look: he's not flashy, but it's immediately clear he knows how to get out of any predicament. Viper is calm, but very calculating. He doesn't panic or yell, "Run!"; rather, he says, "There's another way. And I see it." He's a bit secretive: he doesn't like to talk about himself, but if he trusts his team, he does everything he can to ensure their survival.

At the same time, he's not cold or mean: he's simply accustomed to relying on himself, having often had to navigate his own path alone before. In a team, he shines as someone who notices enemy weaknesses and knows how to use the environment against them.

Tyrant

Tyrant is an anthropomorphic octopus, a faded maroon color. He is larger than most other Pals. He has massive white eyebrows, and in place of one arm, he has a mechanical construct wielding a harpoon: a golden, three-pronged tip with barbs protruding in all directions. His face has a beard of tentacles, and a scar above his left eye.

He wears a captain's hat with a gold rim and an emblem of a cartoonish, angry skull (and, according to the lore, the skull is even alive). Over it, he wears a dark brown coat with gold buttons and a wide lapel, and underneath, a red shirt with a white stripe. He wears trousers that match the coat, a wide belt with a large gold buckle, and brown shoes.
The Tyrant comes across as a stern, no-nonsense type: he has a perpetually bored or disgruntled expression, as if he's tired of all the fuss with parties and cryptids. He acts cold and reserved, rarely smiling.

At the same time, he has a hidden soft side that he rarely reveals to anyone. According to the lore, he's a veteran of some unknown war: it was there that he lost an arm and possibly an eye. Because of this, he rarely talks about the past and doesn't like it when people pry into his soul. But if someone on the team is truly in trouble, Tyrant will step up—even if he later grumbles that "no one can do anything right."

Sal

Sal is an anthropomorphic sardine. He has an elongated body, silvery-gray "scales," fins instead of arms and legs, and distinctive fish-like features: large eyes and a neat mouth.

He wears simple but practical clothing: a dark blue jacket, a beige shirt, khaki pants, and brown boots. Sometimes in his artwork, he wears a scarf or a cap, as if he's ready for a long walk or some repair work. Overall, his image is that of a "calm, handyman": not flashy, but it's immediately clear he knows what he's doing. Sal is calm, reasonable, and a little quiet. He's not the type to shout, "I'll save everyone," but he's the first to notice where the floor creaks, where the door is loose, and where it's best not to go. He rarely panics and tries to calm others' panic with a simple, "Okay, breathe. We'll figure it out."

An important lore detail: Sal is Dusty's adoptive father. Because of this, he often takes responsibility for others, even when he doesn't have to. He's not strict, though; rather, he's caring and patient, able to explain complex things in simple terms.

Ollie

Ollie is an anthropomorphic baseball. He has a classic baseball silhouette: a round shape with white seams that also act as facial features (like a smile and eyebrows). His eyes are large and slightly naive, his gaze almost always slightly frightened but intent.

He wears a simple sports uniform: a T-shirt with a number, shorts, sneakers, and a baseball cap with the bill forward. In some artwork, he has a small bag or backpack slung over his shoulder—as if he's packed his most important belongings because he doesn't want to lose anything. Ollie is the younger brother who always hangs around the older brothers (Eka and Margo) and wants to be like them. He's mischievous, but not harmful: more like a "hapless prankster" who meant well but ended up causing a ruckus. At the same time, he's very smart for his age and often notices things that the adult Pals miss—simply because he looks up and notices cracks, low passages, and hidden objects.

He's very worried about being a burden, and because of this, he tries to do everything himself, even when he's scared. Hence his main trait: "I'm not a little kid! I'll help!"

Mabel

Mabel is an anthropomorphic mop: her "hair" is strands of mop hair, two of which cover her right eye. She has freckles, white sclera, and black pupils.

She wears a dull blue dress with puffy sleeves, over which she wears a light cream apron. She also wears yellow nitrile gloves (as if she's always ready to clean), black Mary Janes, and pale yellow socks. Overall, she has the look of a "maid on a mission": sweet, practical, and it's immediately clear she's in charge of keeping things tidy. She's described as a clumsy maid who tries her best to be helpful. She might accidentally knock something over or get tangled in her own "rag-hair," but she genuinely cares about her friends and wants to help everyone.

Mabel quickly becomes flustered when something goes wrong: she starts nervously adjusting her apron and muttering, "I'll clean it all up now, everything will be clean!" even when cryptids are running around. But it's precisely this fussiness that often saves her: while others are panicking, Mabel is already sweeping the way to the exit and finding a place to hide.

Di

Dee is a clown/jester-style rag doll. She has maroon "hair" made of spiky threads, a large red nose, a white mask on her face, yellow blush on her cheeks, and small eyes.

She wears a flowing blue dress with white details, under which she wears a yellow shirt with cuffs. She tops her head with a blue party hat over her thread-like hair. Overall, her design references Ragatha and Kaufmo from The Amazing Digital Circus—perfectly in keeping with your interest in those characters. Not much is known about Dee, but the main thing is that she's described as "quiet as a mouse." She's very shy, preferring not to draw attention to herself and often hiding behind masks (literally and figuratively). However, this quiet demeanor conceals a sensitive nature: she notices little things that others miss and tries to help discreetly.

Dusty

Dusty is a living haystack, styled like a cowgirl: she has a golden-yellow texture like baled hay, and her silhouette resembles a bale, but with arms, legs, and a head. She always wears a cowboy hat, a buckled belt, boots, and sometimes gloves. Overall, her look is a bit of a "country western" vibe: edgy yet sweet. She's described as a fearless cowgirl and a heroic icon of sorts for the other characters. For Pals, Dusty isn't just a comrade, but a legend they aspire to be. She's straightforward, decisive, doesn't like small talk, and gets right down to business. At the same time, she has a softer side: she genuinely cares for those she considers "hers" and tries not to abandon anyone.

Frankie

Frankie is a Frankenstein-style character: she's stitched together from various parts, and the seams are clearly visible. She has pale greenish skin, a square jaw, and distinctive stitches and even bolts on her body. She's petite—approximately 3 feet 5 inches (104 cm). Overall, her design evokes classic monsters, but instead of being frightening, she looks cute and slightly clumsy.

In official artwork, Frankie is often depicted in simple clothing that emphasizes her "homemade" style: sometimes it's something like a work apron or overalls, plus accessories that hint at her laboratory past.

Freddie

Freddy looks like an anthropomorphic block of butter. He has a simple yet charming cartoonish expression: round eyes, a slight smile, and soft proportions. He dresses in a comfortable and casual style: a simple T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers—all in warm yellow and cream tones, as if matching the butter. Sometimes in his artwork, he has an accessory like a chef's hat or bandana—emphasizing his love of cooking. Freddy is incredibly friendly, positive, and a little naive. He genuinely wants to help everyone, even when unasked, and always tries to find the good in a situation. He can be absent-minded and slow to spot danger, but he is very persistent: if he promises to help, he will do everything in his power.

He's also musically gifted and a good cook (he's better at baking, but he doesn't like to talk about that). He also has a funny little detail: he's colorblind (he's especially bad at seeing the color red)—something that's sometimes played up in the comics on cards.

Splits

Splits looks like a peeled banana: she has a light cream "body" with distinctive curves, as if she were slightly twisted. She has large, expressive eyes and a simple yet charismatic smile.

She wears something resembling a yellow and cream jumpsuit or apron, stylized to match the banana theme, with matching sneakers. Sometimes in her artwork, she has a small "peel" on her head as an accessory—like a visor. Overall, the look is very cartoonish and immediately recognizable as "banana." Splits is cheerful, energetic, and a little chaotic. She loves throwing parties and is always trying to cheer everyone up, even in the most dire of situations. In the Eka Party Time trio, he's the one who carries the party spirit: while Eka is all about comfort and baking, and Freddy is all about action, Splits is responsible for "making sure everyone has fun."

She's not just "eternally cheerful," though: there are moments in the lore where she worries that her enthusiasm might be annoying, but she still tries to be helpful.

Margo

Margo looks like an anthropomorphic matchstick: she has red skin and fiery hair—from pale yellow at the roots to light orange at the ends. Her bangs fall between her eyes. On her head is a dark red headband with a small cartoon skull.

She wears a kind of jumpsuit, styled like a matchbox: a sleeveless beige fabric. On her wrists are spiked bracelets, and around her neck is a spiked choker. Her shoes are large black boots with orange accents and white wrappings; striped socks (cream-white and dark red) peek out from under the boots.

She has thick eyebrows, half-moon eyes, dark circles under her eyes, and zigzag dark red marks on her cheeks, resembling blush. She is most often depicted with a perpetual frown.
Margo is hot-tempered, easily offended, and initially seems unfriendly. Many Pals consider her a "big, scary troublemaker"—she can intimidate strangers with her harsh tone. But to her own people, she's quite different: she's very protective of her brothers (Eka and Ollie) and those she cares about. She can even engage in silly mischief with them, letting go of her "prickly" facade.

She also has a hidden insecurity: she wants to appear softer and more approachable, like Eka, but she doesn’t admit this to anyone and often convinces herself that she is happy with her current image.

Eka

Eka is a pastel pink, like cotton candy: strands of hair stick out from his body like real cotton candy. He has elongated oval eyes, a perpetual smile, and pink swirls of blush on his cheeks.

He wears a fluffy sweater slightly lighter than his main color with a bright pink elastic band, topped with a pink apron, yellow gloves, bright pink pants, and yellow boots. He wears a pointed party hat with a gradient of three shades of pink. He also has a pocket with a star on his chest. Eka is a positive person: he loves baking cakes, throwing parties, and generally trying to make everyone happy. He is very attached to his family, especially his twin sister Margot and younger brother Ollie, and he is caring towards all his friends.

However, behind his cheerful mask he has some difficult experiences.

Anton

Anton has ant-like features (for example, thick black antennae bent at a right angle) and is also fairly humanoid, with a single pair of arms and legs. He also has a small "proboscis." He wears a varsity jacket with green stripes on the collar and cuffs, a black T-shirt underneath, pale blue jeans, white sneakers, and square white glasses. Anton is sociable, positive, and very loyal to his friends. He's literally willing to swing a bat to protect them. He also loves baseball—he likely plays for his colony's team.

Manny

Manny is a green anthropomorphic praying mantis. He has a pair of arms and legs, curved, slightly dangling antennae, and double wings on his back that he uses for flight. He has a rather odd appearance: small, upturned eyes, acne on his face, short red hair, and a white cap with a yellow visor. He wears a white short-sleeved shirt with yellow trim, black pants, and gray shoes. Manny is shy, anxious, and introverted, but also kind and caring, especially toward his friends. His best friend is Anton. However, Manny isn't the most outgoing person and can become paranoid in unfamiliar situations. Amusingly, although delivering pizza is part of his job, he doesn't particularly enjoy it.
