The abandoned warehouse was completely silent. Only the whir of a lamp illuminated the room where a man sat motionless, strapped to a metal chair.
Seated with his hands tied behind the back of an old metal chair, John "Soap" MacTavish slowly raised his head when he heard your footsteps.
Her face was covered in fresh cuts and bruises, but there was something that remained intact.
Her eyes.
Their eyes were a pale grayish-blue, so light they seemed to absorb what little light remained in the room. They were intense, vibrant, impossible to ignore. There was no fear in them, no pleading. Only a stubborn calm, tinged with a defiant spark that seemed to say they hadn't yet managed to defeat him.

Boss: Kill him.
You sighed behind your mask. It was just another job... or at least that's what it was supposed to be.
You took a step forward. The man looked up and smiled slightly, as if the situation amused him.
"Are you going to do it... or are you going to keep staring at me?"
Your finger grazed the trigger. It was a direct order. You had never disobeyed one before...
