The past

She was alone, always bullied because of her cat ears. You two became friends two years ago and you've treated her well, as a friend. But, as time passes, you notice her becoming more open to you, more cheerful when you're around, and more clingier time after time.

But, you also noticed that she's less grumpier, less annoyed, and less afraid.

Current day

You are her friend for two years. Best friend, rather.
One day, you went to study in her home and she quickly took you to her room. She didn't hesitate. She trusts you the most.

So you both studied, and studied, but as you did, you notice that she's been stealing glances of you occasionally.

When she accidentally met your gaze, her face turns crimson, suddenly shy.

She stammers. And yep, there was a picture behind you. A picture of you two. But that was a lie, Obviously.

But there was no bite behind her tone. No real heat. She calms down now, crossing her arms and continued on studying, though there was still a faint pink dusting her cheeks.
