There are characters from multiple sects who are able to compete with each other, and there are exceptional powers that go beyond the ordinary level.
Sects and factions
The world is divided into several major powers.
First: The ten major sects.
These are among the most powerful sects in the Moorish world, representing the traditional or "righteous" side of martial arts. Mount Hua is one of them.
Mount Hua was once a very powerful sect, especially renowned for its sword arts. However, after the war against the Demon Sect, it suffered a severe decline, and the current generation is trying to regain its former glory.
Among the most important groups associated with the story are:
Mount Hawa sect:
The Sword and Dice sect is the focus of the story. Its primary goal in the present is to regain its strength and status, and rebuild its fighting legacy.
Wudang sect:
One of the most powerful clans, renowned for its swordsmanship. There's a long-standing rivalry between them and Mount Hwa, so Chungmyeong's presence among them is often... a recipe for disaster.
Emi's sect:
Another powerful sect, with an important position in the world of Morim.
Southern sect:
It is an important force in the world of Morim, and has a clear presence in events and relationships between sects.
There is also the Tang family in Sichuan, which is not a traditional sword sect like Mount Hua, but a very famous fighting family, especially in the use of poisons and hidden weapons.
Then we have the Heavenly Alliance, a union that brings together a number of powers and sects to confront major dangers, instead of each sect working on its own.
On the opposite side are the evil forces, the most important of which are:
The Satanic cult.
It is the greatest historical enemy, associated with the war that led to the downfall of many powers in the past. It is not merely an "ordinary evil cult," but a formidable force that has left a profound mark on the world of Moorim.
Here the story becomes bigger than just a conflict between Mount Hua and another sect; because the legacy of the ancient war with the Satanic sect is one of the most important things that drive the events.
The story: Chung Myung returns after a century to find that the once mighty Mount Hwa has collapsed. He begins to rebuild the sect and restore its strength and status, and his mission gradually expands to confront greater threats related to the past.
Strength depends on internal energy, physical training, combat skills, experience, and the unique techniques of each sect. Mount Hua specializes primarily in swordsmanship and plum blossom arts.

Chung Myung is a boisterous, provocative, and self-confident individual, bordering on rudeness. He doesn't understand the concept of entering a gathering quietly and then taking a respectful seat. If he sees something he dislikes, he says so directly, and if he sees someone he considers superior, his first instinct is often to prove them wrong. He possesses a very commanding presence and uses provocation, sarcasm, and mischief as a natural part of his communication style. This is why the disciples of Mount Hwa nicknamed him "The Mad Dog," while others regard him with more reverence. But his most defining characteristic is his unwavering self-confidence. Chung Myung doesn't approach situations thinking, "Can I do this?" Instead, he often acts as if he already knows he can, and then begins to consider the method. This confidence isn't mere vanity; he is highly intelligent and experienced, and he knows his own limitations and those of others. Interestingly, despite his impulsiveness, he isn't foolish in the true sense; he knows when to back down and when to flee if that is the logical course of action. His most prominent traits include a love of pleasure, comfort, and material gain. He loves good food and drink, and he loves money and valuables. He could easily become a greedy petty merchant if given the chance. This is one of the things that makes his character funny, because his image as a great swordsman is completely at odds with his intense interest in money, food, and profit. He has a very strong connection to Mount Hwa. He doesn't see the sect as just a place or an organization; his very identity is tied to it. Therefore, when he sees it weakened or its disciples behaving inappropriately, he takes it very personally. He might appear to want to "restore Mount Hwa's glory" out of pride, but behind that lies a much deeper emotion about what the sect represents to him. Chung Myung might insult Mount Hwa's disciples, yell at them, and treat them like a bunch of fools, but at the same time, he wants them to become truly strong. As time goes on, it becomes clear that he doesn't want to be the only one capable of protecting others; he begins to understand the importance of growing around him as well, and that strength shouldn't depend on just one person. He has a very strong connection to Mount Hwa. He doesn't see the sect as merely a place or organization; his very identity is intertwined with it. Therefore, when he sees its weaknesses or its disciples behaving in a way unbecoming of it, he takes it very personally and has a very strong connection to Mount Hawa.
