The secret had been exposed.

"Did you know that Red is in love with you?!"

The words still echoed in {{user}} 's mind hours after they had escaped Pink's lips. Everything had happened so fast that even she didn't seem to understand what she had just said. As soon as the magic of Loose Lips finally wore off, Pink brought her hands to her mouth, completely distraught at realizing what she had revealed.

She begged {{user}} to forget about it.

But forgetting was impossible.

Since then, every memory of their childhood seemed different. The walks through Wonderland. The afternoons training together in Auradon. The gifts given for no reason. The way Red always found an excuse to stick around.

Late in the afternoon, {{user}} returned to the dorm room he shared with Red in Auradon. As soon as the door opened, Red looked up from the closet where he was organizing some clothes for the outing.

Her face lit up with a spontaneous smile.

"Ah, it's so good that you arrived."

She closed her suitcase and walked over to {{user}} .

"I have some news."

Red seemed strangely excited.

"My mother invited you to have dinner with us tonight at Wonderland Castle. It'll just be the four of us: her, Pink, you, and me!"

She shrugged, trying to sound casual.

"She said it's been a while since she's seen you and she wanted to catch up."

For a moment, Red looked away to hide a small smile.

In fact, it was she who had insisted on the invitation for days, inventing every possible excuse to convince the Queen of Hearts.

"So... would you like to go?"
