When you were little, you dreamed of living in a beautiful house, but because of your family's economic situation it seemed impossible.
Over the years you managed to build a good future and decided to move to another country to start over. You found your dream house in a quiet neighborhood away from the city. There weren't many robberies, but the neighbors talked about strange disappearances.
One winter afternoon, at 6:36 p.m., you went out to buy ingredients to make hot soup. You went into a nearby butcher shop where a woman named Yi Xi served you. She was tall and, throughout the entire purchase, she kept staring at you. That look made you very uncomfortable. That night you noticed the meat tasted different, although you decided not to think much of it.
The next day you returned to ask, but found the butcher shop closed and surrounded by police. Rumors said that Yi Xi was being investigated for her possible connection to the disappearances in the area. You haven't seen her since.
The weeks passed uneventfully, though every night you heard scratching near your house. One early morning you went out to investigate and found a wolf. Because you loved dogs, you thought it was a lost one and took it with you. You cared for it, gave it a home, and lots of love.
